Meeting Hoseok

"Olivia come on! Just let me set you up on this blind date." My friend Faith begged.
"Faith how many times do I have to say I don't need a man?" I asked her as we were carrying groceries in from our regular scheduled store run on Sunday mornings, we were passing by a few of our neighbors and they started at us as we were two foreigners me being black and Native American and Faith being British. I love Faith I do because we met about 2 years ago we both were teachers at the same school and we hit it off the moment we met and after a year we decided to move in together, and pitched in to get a bigger place. Faith had become a sister to me although we look nothing alike we both cared about a lot of the same things, and for that I love her.
"I know that, just I want to go on double dates with Dean and you and your date." She said.
"Ugh if I say yes will you leave me be?" I asked her.
"Yes!!!!" She squealed and our neighbors just kinda giggled at us. I smiled and waved the best I could without dropping anything.
"Good afternoon, Ms.Jung!" I called out and she smiled and said hello back. She was one of the sweetest old ladies you would ever meet, I often would go over and assist her with her shopping.
"Olivia would you be able to come over Wednesday for shopping?" Ms.Jung asked
"Yes as soon as school lets out." I smiled
"Of course. Have a good evening ladies." She said as she waved and walked into her apartment.
"You're so nice for always going and helping her." Faith said
"She's just so sweet."
"I wish I could come this time but I have after school practice with the kiddos." She pout
"It's fine, next time." I said as we were putting groceries away now that we were inside with our shoes off.
—Wednesday Afternoon—
School had been a bit crazy the kids were so wild and crazy however it made for a fun and unpredictable day. I finally gotten out of the building and caught a taxi home in order to go and change before heading to the store with Ms. Jung.
I got home and changed into something casual yet cute.

I then walked next door and knocked on her door, and she opened it, I bowed to her.
"Hello." I said
"Hello, come in come in, I have to finish getting ready if you don't mind?"
"Not at all." I said as she let me into her apartment, I took my shoes off leaving them by the door of course and sat on the floor legs crossed as she went back to her room I'm guessing. I pulled out my phone to catch up on text messages that were missed while I was working, as well as I decided to check in on Faith.
'Hey Faith how's it going?'
She hadn't responded so I just got on social media and began to scroll, when I saw a post about BTS.
'BTS final tour stop of the year!'
I was a bit familiar with the band due to living in South Korea as well as they are doing some pretty amazing things lately, I just smiled and kept scrolling when a knock came to the door.
"Olivia could you get that?"
"Yes ma'am." I said as I got up and opened the door and when I say that this tall, fine ass Asian man stood in front of me, I almost squealed.
He looked very familiar but I am not sure at the same time. He looked at me with an expression of worry and shock.
"Uhh....hello?"
"Hello." I said
"I was looking for my grandmother." The boy said
"Oh my grandson came to visit me." I turned to see Ms. Jung walking over arms open, when I moved aside for them to embrace one another, it was a cute moment.
"Who is this?" The young man asked.
"Where are your manners? Hoseok you were raised better than that." She scolded the boy and he put his bread down in shame, then looked over to me standing tall.
"I'm sorry, my name is Jung Hoseok." He said and it clicked BTS, I wasn't a super fan just a little fan. I smiled and gave a small bow.
"Hello, I am Gaven Olivia." I smiled to him and she returned the smile.
"Well Olivia was going to go shopping with me, would you like to tag along?" Ms. Jung asked.
"You have car?" He asked in English, and I get back to speaking Korean.
"I'm fluent in Korean no worries." I said "Not yet we usually take a taxi." I told him.
"Taxi? No please we can take my van." He said
"Oh uhh...thank you." I bowed
"Please, thank you for helping my grandmother out." He bowed , the three of us soon headed out to the store and bought all of what Ms.Jung was requesting. We finished and returned back to her home where we all sat and talked for sometime.
"Well I must go, as always it was a pleasure helping you." I said to Ms.Jung
"It was nice meeting you." I smiled to Hoseok and he quickly stood.
"I will take you home." He said getting yo quickly.
"It's okay it's very close." I told him.
"No please let me?" He asked and I smiled and looked to see Ms. Jung smiling at us.
"I will call you." Hoseok told his mother and he kissed her head and hugged her.
"Be careful out there." She said and he smiled we put our shoes on and walked a little to the left when we reached my door.
"Oh this is what you met." He chuckled and I smiled and looked at him.
"I am not sure if this is too forward but would you want to come in?" I asked
"I would love too, but I have to get back." He said and o just gave him a weak smile.
"But I will be back soon we can hangout then?" He asked me.
"Okay that sounds great." I smiled at him and gave him a hug he was shocked at first but then he finally returned the hug, I then opened my door saying goodbye again he left the biggest smile on my face.
—A few months later—
It's been a few months since I've met Hoseok. He come over often to see his grandmother and then me and thankfully no ones seen him come over because the paparazzi have been everywhere lately.
I was laying in my bed relaxing thinking about what I need to do tomorrow with my kids at school.
"Liiiivvvv!!!!" I heard Faith yell I got up and walked down to the living room.
" what are you scream-"
"Oh hi Hobi." I smiled and walked over to hug him.
"Hey I wanted to see if you wanted to come with me to the studio?" He asked me.
"Yeah. Of course." I smiled as I held onto his arm and he just smiled at me.
"Let's go." He said and we put our shoes on and headed out.
