Grace's P.O.V
I didn't want to get up. When I opened my eyes, I found the bedroom filled with light. A hand that was not my own was stroking my head. I cocked my head to meet Keith's eyes.
"You came," Keith mutters and I nod my head.
"Did you ever doubt me?"
Keith just smiled and we were tangled in each other.
I sighed propped myself on my elbow ready for the day. I lifted my mask and grinned. I didn't change my clothes to what Keith bought when we visited Earth the first time. Instead, I wore my battle attire. Storm Brooke wouldn't wear those clothes. They were too simple and gentle.
"Are you ready for this Titan?" I asked him and he nodded his head.
"As ready as I'll ever. May you guide us to victory," Titan answered and I grinned.
My eyes looked upward to see Dan with an excited and ready look.
"You ready for this Dan Kuso?" I challenged loading my gauntlet.
"Readier than I have ever been!" Dan replied and we chanted.
"Gauntlet power strike!"
"Gate card set!" I shout tossing in my card.
The battlefield let out a surge of blue Aquos energy.
"Bakugan brawl! Rise Aquos Omega Titan!" I called out and Titan let out a battle cry as he emerged.
"Bakugan Brawl! Rise Pyrus Helix Dragonoid!" Dan called out and I widened my eyes at the power difference.
Drago: 900 G's
Titan: 700 G's
The other brawlers were observing the battle and I overheard their remarks.
"Grace has the type advantage against Drago," Julia stated.
"But Drago's base power is higher than Titan's. So, it would seem this will be a close battle," Keith commented eyeing me.
"Ability Activate! Tainted Nova!"
Drago: 900 – 300 = 600 G's
Titan: 700 G's
"Ability Activate! Helix Shield!" Dan calls out and I see Drago's power meet Titans.
"That move only increased Drago's power enough to meet Titan's. Are you holding out on me Dan?"
"Holding out? I'm just getting started," Dan assured me.
"Ability Activate! Aqua Blue!"
Drago: 700 G's
Titan: 700 + 200 = 900 G's
I watched as Titan charged Aquos energy and I crossed my arms smirking. Dan was no match for me.
"Ability Activate! Dragon Phalanx!"
Drago: 700 + 300 = 1000 G's
Titan: 900 – 200 - 300 = 400 G's
I stumbled back confused for a brief second at the power change.
"No way!" I gasped.
"Dragon Phalanx nullifies the opponent's abilities and transfers 300 G's to Drago."
"Ability Activate! Storm Siege!"
Drago: 1000 – 200 = 800 G's
Titan: 400 + 400 = 800 G's
