Chapter 8

Kate's Pov

"Jane, what are you doing here?" I ask.

"I'm here to make sure you don't do anything reckless" She says.

"I'm fine" I say.

"Are you sure?" She asks.

"She says she's fine" Says Jason as he raises his voice.

"Come Kate. I'll take you home. You could use some rest" Says Jane in a sympathetic tone.

"She's not going anywhere with you" Says Jason.

"It's okay J, I'll be fine" I say to Jason.

"Are you sure?" He asks.

"I'm sure" I smile.

"Ok.." Says Jason as he gave Jane the death stare.

"I can't leave Candice" I whisper.

"My brother Stefan will keep her company. He's the perfect gentleman. You don't have to worry. I promise" She whispers.

I agreed to go with her before the situation got worst, knowing Jason, he'd probably punch Jane in his drunken state.

"Ok" I say as I immediately puke all over her shoes.

"Oh shit. I'm so sorry!" I say as my eyes widen.

"It's okay Kate. Come on lets go" She says. I follow her to her car as she drove off. She took me to her apartment, she kicked her shoe off and threw it in the bin as we entered her apartment.

"I'm sorry" I say.

"It's fine. Go up to your room and lay down. I'll be up shortly" She says.

I go upstairs and take my my clothes off and jumped into bed. She then came in shortly after.

"Are you okay?" She asks.

"No, I'm feeling strong emotions right now" I say.

"Anything I can do to help?" She asks.

"Cuddle" I say.

"Anything else?" She asks.

"You're not getting sex" I say.

"Usually they come back for my sex" She says.

"That's not why I'm here" I say.

"Why are you here Kate? Why'd you agree to come with me?" She asks.

"Certainly not for sex! I sensed the meeting of you and Jason might've escalated into something bad" I say.

"That Jason guy seems to really like you" She says.

"He really does actually" I say.

"Well that's too bad cause you belong to me" She says as I start blushing.

"I... I don't belong to anyone" I stutter.

"We'll see" She smiled.

"Why do you want to physically hurt me Jane?" I say as I avert my eyes to the ground.

"For your pleasure" She says.

"For my pleasure?" I say as I avert my eyes back onto her.

"And mine" She says.

"Simplicity" I whisper.

"My type of love isn't a form of simplicity Kate" She says.

"And I'm not okay with that, we're both searching for something different" I say.
