The Next Morning

Manik was having his bed tea and noticing Nandini's actions who was dragging her feet from here and there, trying to look for a work. He was confused seeing her this way. Suddenly his eyes widen and he looked at the mobile to see the date.

Manik: Nandini,

He called out slowly and as she turned, he noticed her teary eyes. However, looking at him, her chin wobbled and a tear fell down. She sniffed, wiping it with the back of her hand which made him smile.

He kept the cup at a side and opened his arm for her. She slowly walked to him and he pulled her as soon as she was a step away from bed.

Manik: Periods?

Nandini: Haan

Manik: toh rona kyu?

Nandini sniffed again, this time her hand rolling the center of his t-shirt on her finger. He let her do it and asked softly.

Manik: What happened?

Nandini: I wanted to enjoy na. There's so much work and today we had decided to go for shopping. It is my first day and I don't feel good.

She complained and the way her cheeks puffed and lips moulded into an adorable pout, Manik couldn't help but smile at her.

Manik: Is there something I can do to make you feel good?

Nandini bobbed her head in yes but didn't look at him. He raised his eyebrow as looked up and blinked her eyes slowly, trying to pass him a cute look.

Nandini: Choco

Manik: Ah! So that's what you need hah!

She bobbed her head and he hmmed tightening his hold on her.

Manik: But I gave you one yesterday.

Nandini: toh?

Manik: Toh aaj choco nahi milegi. You need to eat healthy food.

Nandini: Manik!

She whined and he laughed rubbing his nose with hers.

Manik: Okay Okay, How about I get you chocolate milkshake?

Nandini: (pouting) Manik, Do I look like a baby to you?

Manik looked at her and Nandini followed his eyes. He smiled as she was completely above him with his head on her chest just like a baby.

Manik: Not less than one!

He pecked her head and she snuggled into him.

Nandini: Manik

Manik: Ji

Nandini: Aap na, meko ek bada vala choco box lake dedo. I won't disturb you for a week.
