Chapter 49: Did I just get friend zoned?

And then it was already Christmas Eve....

"Y/N you ready?" Emily screamed "Hurry up! I need to use the bathroom! It is not my fault that this flat only has one bathroom"

I quickly put on a bath cloak before opening the door "Relax Emily! You only need to do your hair! I just showered alright?"

"Why is Christmas always so stressful?" Emily laughed

"I don't know" I laughed and left

I quickly got ready and left my hair open and put on some tights, a skirt and a shirt.

Just a second after I finished my make-up Katie came into the room I share with Emily "We leave in 2 minutes you ready?" she asked

"Yeah coming" I went into living room where everyone was ready to leave

"We're going to use Floo powder since Fred doesn't like apparating long distances" George explained and Emily and I had problems not to start laughing and locked eyes

"I will go first, then Katie, Fred, Y/N and then lastly Emily" George told us

"Why am I always last" Emily complained but we all knew that she was just joking

"Anyways" George went over to the fireplace "This is quite good Floo powder, so you won't have a lot of dust on you after you arrive" he explained before stepping into the fireplace "I think you all know how this works, so I don't have to explain it right?"

"No, we are 11 years old" Emily laughed

"Very funny" George said sarcastically before saying "THE BURROW!" and disappearing after the flames.

Katie went in shortly after followed by Fred.

Afterwards I stepped into the fireplace and took some Floo powder before disappearing.

Seconds later I stood a small living before being wrapped into a hug

"Y/N! It is so good to see you" Molly greeted me "Dinner is nearly ready! But you go into the living room and join the others alright?"

"Thank you, Moll! I am so happy to see you again and thank you for having me" I told her

"No problem! Now go on and join the others before the twins explode anything! There will rob me my last hours someday" she laughed before leaving

I followed the noise and I found myself in a little corner with a big table everyone already chatting and sitting down.

I quietly took a seat before Emily sat down next to me.

"I love the Burrow! I was here for some time in the summer before the wedding you know? It just feels like home as soon as you enter" she said amazed

Shortly after Molly rushed into the living area with all the food and we all began eating and chatting

"Mum, I really missed this" Fred said with his mouth full of food

"Manners Frederick" his mom told him "We have ladies over" she looked to over us and Katie, who was sitting next to George

"Sorry mum" Fred mumbled

"Since we already started this topic" Molly started talking again "Katie, darling I hope George is always acting like a gentleman like I raised him"

You could George and Katie blush probably uncomfortable with the situation

"But honestly I don't even know what is going on their minds sometimes" Molly continued "You know those two" she pointed at George and Fred "nearly made Ron agree to an unbreakable vow as a kid"
