Chapter 41: Yeah, shut up! Fred, I don't care

The ceremony was beautiful and that kind of made me forgot about all the bad things going on. Fleurs looked so beautiful in her dress and I have to admit bill isn't the ugliest guy I ever saw.

I lost Rolf as soon as the ceremony started and I spend most of my time with Victor.

"Would this lady share a little dance with me?" Victor offered me his hand.

"You know I can't dance so no" I answered

"Come on Y/N just one dance! I don't want to be on the dance floor alone the whole time it's a little embarrassing" he laughed but I felt like he was really missing Vanja

"Fine! One single dance!" I told him taking his hand

He took me to the dance floor

Fred's POV

Where is George again? Why does he always have to go missing? I tried to press myself through the crowds to find my other twin.

"Hey Katie! Have you seen George" I asked my brother's girlfriend

"I think he went inside to get something I don't really know! But he will probably be back any moment!" she answered "Did you even dance today? Is there anyone you're interested in" she asked me while wiggling with her eyebrows

"I haven't really looked around myself to be honest. I was just at the ceremony and then I was eating some cake and drinking some champagne when I wanted to find George to introduce him to one of my new ideas for a product" I explained

"You know Fred, I think that your life spins too much around your job! Please just do me a favour and enjoy tonight and don't hang out with us all the time because I don't like seeing a third wheel" she told me pushing me into back into the crowd

"wait but-"I turned around but Katie was nowhere to be found.

I decided to follow her suggestion and I made my way to the dance floor when my heart dropped a tiny bit.

There she was dancing with this Krum guy again. She looked so beautiful with her black dress and hair half up.

I tried to move on but I just found myself thinking about her when I can't sleep making up scenarios of what would have happened if well the thing between Emily and I never happened sometimes.

"There you are Fred I was looking for you everywhere" Emily said taking me away from my thoughts "Oh no did I interrupt your thoughts again..." she looked at me and realised "Oh you're looking at her right? Look Fred I think that you really messed up but you just can't stop thinking about her and now you're staring at her like some kind of creep. Just get your sh*t together and try to talk to her again. What's the worst thing that can happen?" she asked me

"I don't know"

"Stop acting like you dumb Fred! The worst thing that can happen is that she tells you that she doesn't have feelings for you anymore. Then you can just move on and know that there is not a chance that you can get back together, and you don't have to worry about your mistakes all the time. I mean yeah you did hurt her but just try it. Maybe she even admits that she still has feelings for you and gives you a second chance"

"The problem is that she already gave me a second chance once" I took confessed "one time when we weren't really dating and I asked her to make ourselves official and she just told me that she wanted more time and I decided to kiss Angelina and she saw it... yeah"

"I already knew that you were in a deep sh*t Fred but still just try. Come on it's not that hard. I think I speak for George as well that it annoys us that you're just zoomed out all the time" she told me

"Alright I'm going to talk to her just give me a second. I need to build up all of my courage to do this Emily so please be thankful okay? Even for big and brave Gryffindor this is a hard task"

"Yeah, shut up! Fred, I don't care! Just do it already it takes longer for us to discuss it then actually talking to her "
