Chapter 54: This is not fair...

Nothing changed....

We fought for our lives and for our home.

Death eaters kept appearing everywhere.

There were just too many

I thought about everything that happened in my life.

How my parents never looked at me again after I got my letter...

How they abandoned me when I was 17...

How I was lost when I graduated Hogwarts...

This made me think of Lydia. I haven't heard from them in awhile and I just hope that they are alright.

I looked around and realised that Dean wasn't next to me anymore and that I was alone again.

It felt like everything was moving in slow-motion.

And then suddenly Fred came into my mind.

I wondered if he was still alive or if he was injured in any way

Should I have talked to him again?

I would leave right now to talk to him when there wasn't a battle going on and if I wouldn't fought for my own life the whole time.

I was lost in thoughts for a moment

"WATCH IT THERE!" someone screamed and I looked up to see the old Gryffindor captain Oliver Wood casting a spell on a death eater that was right next to me

"Thanks Wood!" I screamed after him before completely coming back to reality

I saw spiders coming my way and started running.

Luckily, I was faster than the spiders and they got easily distracted

I saw a girl lying on the ground in front of me.

I think her name was Lavender Brown. She dated Ron in her 6th year. Katie told me about her.

I walked away from her body too emotionally hurt to stay

I looked around myself at all time and kept defending myself and others.

"Expelliarmus" I cast the spell at a death eater threatening what looked like a first year.

They are just eleven.

I was scared about the fact that I didn't know anyone at Hogwarts and they fought for their lives

"Are you okay?" I asked the little boy and he nodded "Get inside! It'll be safer in there" I told him and the confused boy made his way inside the castle.

"HELP!" I heard someone scream. I quickly made my way over and saw Cho struggling with a few death eaters.

"Did your little boyfriend die?" one of them asked Cho and I saw the hurt and anger building up in her

"You little b*tch!" I screamed at the woman "You will regret this!" I told her before I casted a spell at her that made her fall on to the stone ground of the courtyard

In the meantime, Cho took care of the other death eaters before engulfing me into a hug

"You're alive!" she said relieved "Thank you for your help"

"Of course! I've missed you" I quickly said "But now is not the time"

"I know! When all of this is over, we will catch up" she said

"We will!" I assured her and before we knew it we were on our own again.

I kept fighting but I stayed on guard the whole time

But then I felt a sudden pain in my back, I fell forwards and everything went black....
