"Has Gyu already gone?", Soobin asked curiously when Taehyun entered the house alone.

Beomgyu was nowhere in sight.

"Yes", Taehyun replied as he walked into the living room further with lazy steps, "He said that he was tired and sleepy"

Soobin couldn't help smirk evilly when he remembered the passionate scene of his brother and Beomgyu, grabbing Taehyun's attention at once who gave him a questioning look, "What?", he asked in confusion, causing Soobin to shake his head from side to side, refusing to tell his brother a reason since he knew he would probably murder him.

"Nothing", but the purple-haired boy still couldn't get rid of his grin, which was making the older suspicious.

"Soobin!"

"I said it's nothing, hyung! What's wrong with you?", he asked in a grumpy tone as he took his laptop from the table and started playing games after falling onto the armchair which made the redhead roll his eyes.

His younger brother was just being annoying as usual, so Taehyun decided that giving up was a better option than dealing with Soobin's stubbornness. He knew the boy wouldn't even say a word if he didn't want to.

The red-haired detective let out a sigh and turned around to head to his room, so he could continue working there, but the sound of his phone made him come to a halt. He immediately took his phone from his pocket, curiousness washing over his eyes when he saw the name of her colleague. He knew Solar wouldn't call him at this time if anything serious wasn't happening.

"Hey, Solar. Is anything new?", he asked in a tired voice as he held the device to his ear.

"Yes, but nothing good"

"What happened?", Taehyun asked with a frown as he furrowed his eyebrows and perked up his ears, his free hand resting on his hip.

"The dead body of Lee Daejung has disappeared, Taehyun"

"What do you mean it's disappeared?", Taehyun chuckled bitterly, not believing his ears since Solar's words seemed too unbelievable to him.

"I don't know. We are all surprised"

A serious expression smeared over Taehyun's face again as his eyes sharpened and he groaned heavily, his palm running over his stressed face, "Okay. I'll be there soon"

The detective immediately declined the call and started putting his jacket on which made the purple-haired male look up at him with a frown on his face.

"You are going to work at this time?", he asked his brother with displeasure on his expression. He didn't like how much his brother always used to work.

"Yes, Soobin. I've been very busy these days"

"Don't you want to rest at all?", Soobin complained.

"There is no other way", the redhead male said in distress and opened the door, "Lock the door. I don't think I'll be able to return till very late"

"Okay, hyung. Take care of yourself and at least take a nap"

Taehyun nodded his head and ruffled his brother's hair before stepping outside, causing the boy to grumble and slap his hand away. The redhead smirked mischievously at his sibling, then left to go to work. Soobin immediately shut the door and locked it behind himself, then sat on the couch and pulled his phone out of his pocket while looking at the screen for anything new.

He started playing games since he had nothing else to do, but after some time he got bored and threw the device away, letting it flop on the couch beside him, "What should I do?", he asked himself in a whiny tone and took a deep sigh, "I wish I had a lover at least, I would chat with them"

Soobin got on his feet, put on his jacket and went outside. Since he had nothing to distract himself with, he decided to spend some time outside, so he'd feel more refreshed.
