In the afternoon, Lisa and Soobin were busy with their shooting classes again. Fortunately, Soobin was learning quickly and improving his skills every day. They were also training him in archery since it was one of the best techniques a human could use for self-defence against the werewolves and also for attacking them. It was a good thing that Soobin was being very eager to gain new skills as well. He had become the complete opposite of his old lazy self. It was fair though since he needed all of that for his friend, to finally do justice to his soul and let him rest in peace. Not only Beomgyu, but they were going to save millions of lives by defeating Sungjin and sending him to hell he had always belonged to. They were going to save innocent humans from becoming someone else as well, from being overpowered by the temptation of power, because they were planning to prosecute the government and get rid of all the transformation drugs which were going to be finished in 3 days, as Jiho told them. Soobin still had no idea why Yeonjun needed to get one of them, but he didn't care as long as they'd succeed and everything would end well in their favour.

It was evening when Yeonjun went outside to check how Soobin's training was going. There was Jennie with him, teaching him how to pull the string of a bow properly, however, after letting an arrow fly forward, it still missed the target which made the younger whine in dissatisfaction while Yeonjun smiled faintly at his eagerness, "Why does it never work?", Soobin grumbled before bending down and seizing another arrow, however, before Jennie could point out his mistakes, they both noticed Yeonjun's presence and turned their attention to him, "I keep failing, hyung", Soobin said with a pouty face which made Yeonjun's heart warm. He couldn't help the urge to fix his eyes on Jennie and tell her that she could rest, because Yeonjun was going to be the one training the boy this time.

"Okay", he said as he stood almost behind the boy, placing his hands on the younger's shoulders and pulling them back slightly to make the boy fix his posture, "Keep your head up straight and your shoulders relaxed", Soobin did as told, his mind totally focused and concentrated, "Fix your eyes on the target and remember to gently squeeze your shoulder blades as you draw the string. Make sure to keep the string lined up with the centre of the bow and don't stick up your elbow in the air", Yeonjun said, fixing the position of the boy's elbow, then unconsciously placing his hands onto the younger's hips, but since Soobin was busy thinking about hitting the target, he couldn't even notice it or maybe he would be red as a tomato by now, "Now draw"

Yeonjun's face was close to the younger's ear, his eyes locked to the target as Soobin drew the string, causing an arrow to jerk forward at full speed, hitting the target. Soobin was actually shocked at first to see the arrow stuck in the exact spot Soobin had aimed it at maybe thousands of times but never succeeded. However, realising he had finally achieved his goal, he jumped and squealed like a kid, hugging Yeonjun out of joy who could just smile at his happiness in the warm embrace.

"I did it, hyung. I did it. Thank you"

Yeonjun buried his face into his neck, breathing in the nice scent secretly which let his mind relax immediately. He felt better and refreshed as pure bliss saturated his body and let him take his mind off that world for some time.

Then Soobin pulled away to grasp another arrow and make another attempt, however, he was a little anxious since didn't want to fail after succeeding, "I'll manage to do it again, right hyung?", he tried to convince himself by getting a positive answer from the older, his face concentrated and serious as he watched his target and let his mind wander to whatever Yeonjun taught him minutes ago.

"You will", Yeonjun said, making confidence grow in the boy's mind, "But it's okay even if you don't. We can never succeed without failure. Failures aren't meant to scare you, do you hear me?"

Soobin pursed his lips and nodded his head in understanding, repeating in his mind over and over again like a mantra that he could do that. So with confidence, he repeated the previous actions and then drew the string, squealing like a happy kid when the arrow hit the target again.
