you move to the passenger seat. you drive to a diner and get a table. you pulled yourself together.
M | how are you holding up?
A | i'll be fine. i just need to focus on school. it's just like before anyways.
M | but it's not.

M | i saw you guys. it was like the world was stopped. it was just you two. no school. no problems just the two of you.
you bury your face in your hands.

you are shocked on how many likes and comments you were getting. you mute your notifications. you go out surfing with maggie. while carrying your boards over there you realize bryce and amber are out on your favorite place to board.

having payton out here was great but you missed amber and all the time you spent on the water. your life is still piecing itself together. you just need a little bit of time.
