I'd never thought about how large his hands were, not until one was splayed across my thigh now, curling into my skin, leaving a brilliant burn wherever he touched. Still, I ignore the tightening in my stomach and rip my leg out of his grasp.
"You don't get to touch me like that anymore." I snap. He smiles at me, rough fingers trailing up my forearm, leaning in close.
"Oh princess, I'm the only one who can touch you like that."

Rosemary survived the war, leaving behind broken hearts and painful memories. She and her new found family try and move on, rebuilding relationships and the world they live in.
