"Wilbur, please tell him to shut the fuck up." I groan, rubbing circles on my temples, my head feeling like it's about to implode. Tommy's screaming his head off in the background, hysterically trying to tell Wilbur about the dinner with Dream, except it all just comes out in unintelligible high pitched shrieks. Wilbur's face is screwed up as Tommy continues to yell.

"You know, I really wish I could do that." He sighs. Tommy finally stops to take a deep breath and I butt in before he has a chance to get going again, my head still ringing.

"Alright, we get it Tommy, you don't have to keep going." I say dryly. Tommy turns to Wilbur, eyes blown out wide in some sort of pleading expression.

"You don't understand Wilbur, he kissed Rose in front of me. I'm traumatised now, I'll never be the same again." He cries, a tad too dramatically. Both of us roll our eyes at him.

"He kissed me on the cheek Tommy, I think you'll be fine." I say.

"He put his gross lips on your face. How are you not scarred!" He yells, and I wince at the noise.

"I think they've done a lot more than that." Wilbur chuckles, and I almost fall off my chair, as Tommy just screams. My face burns a no doubt bright red, as Tommy finally stops screaming and stares, horrified at Wilbur, who's smiling.

"No. No, no, no, no, I refuse to have this conversation with anymore people. Mine and Dream's history is the past and I am not talking about it. No one is going to talk about it. Am I clear?" I threaten lowly, glaring at Wilbur.

"Does Dream like it when you're this bossy?" He rushes out quickly. "I'm sorry, I'M SORRY, please don't hurt me!" He panics, as I lift a wooden spoon from the bench and raise it threateningly.

"You are just as bad as Sapnap." I say, pointing the spoon at him accusingly. He shakes his head, smirking slightly, but doesn't say anything else. Tommy is still standing in the middle of the room, mouth agape in terror, as his brain tries to sort through the traumatic information he was just exposed do. From his complete lack of movement and expression, I can tell the poor thing's fried.

Wilbur slaps his hand down on the bench top abruptly."Oh, Rose, we have some new news from L'manburg." At that, Tommy snaps out of his trance and joins us at the bench, grinning excitedly.

"We're running for President!" He beams.

I knit my eyebrows together in confusion. "President?"

"I'm running for President, Tommy's my running mate for the Vice Presidency. Our plan is to announce our candidacy for the election and then immediately close the option to join the race, so we are guaranteed to get elected and we can consolidate power." Wilbur explains.

"That doesn't sound very democratic." I scoff.

"It's not supposed to be, nothing will change, we just want to solidify our power." He responds.

I shrug my shoulders. "Fair enough, you're a good leader. I'm sure l'manburg will be happy with it."

"I'm going to be in charge of you." Tommy says smugly, and I shake my head.

"As if idiot, anyway I'm not a part of l'manburg so why do I care?" I laugh.

"You should come back then." Tommy says earnestly. "I promise I won't pick on you as your Vice President."

"Rosemary doesn't need to come back right now. Let her settle in on her own." Wilbur interjects gently, and I send him a grateful smile. "Niki still is apart of l'manburg, so she can update her."

There's a booming knock on the door, and all three of us snap our heads in it's direction, as it swings open. An extremely muddy Sapnap bounds through.

I leap up, running with my arms outstretched to stop him from making it any further into the house.

"Sapnap stop! You're filthy!" I yell in horror, standing in front him of before he puts his disgusting feet on my carpet.

"Oh whoops, sorry Rosie! I just came to say hi." He smiles. I look at him, covered from head to toe in thick mud, even his face is hidden behind layers of sludge.

"What the hell happened to you?" Tommy interrupts, staring disgusted at the bog monster that now resides in my living room.

"Found a mud pit." Sapnap responds. Like that explains literally anything.

"So you what? Swam in it?!" I question, because that's exactly what it looks like.

"Yep." Sapnap says, clearly not seeing the issue with his statement.

"And then you came into my house?" I add exasperatedly, helplessly looking at the footprints he already tracked in over my nice, polished timber floors.

"I wanted to say Hi." Sapnap shrugs. I almost murder him on the spot.

"Ok, you know what? Out. All of you out of my house." I say, pointing at the door. Everyone instantly starts talking in protest.

"No arguing!" I yell. "Sapnap, you're filthy, and I just cleaned this house. Tommy, you're too loud, and my head hurts. Wilbur, stop making weird sexual innuendos." Sapnap perks his head up.

"Weird sexual innuendos? About Dream?" He asks. I glare at him.

"Out." He raises his hands in mock defeat and they leave the house. I follow them out, hugging Tommy and Wilbur goodbye, and waving at Sapnap from a safe distance. They're annoying, and probably completely unhinged, but I still love them.

I manage to clean up the remains of mud from the floors before an exhausted Niki gets home, blue uniform worn, the brass buttons scuffed and the tie askew.

"Long day?" I ask. She collapses onto the couch.

"You could say that." She responds tiredly, as I laugh. We eat dinner and talk about Wilbur's election plans. Niki doesn't mind it, and even though I think it's a tad but too much I don't bring it up. I'm not apart of l'manburg anymore.

It's late when we head to bed, and I curl under the heavy sheets, my tired eyes drooping. It's one of those sleepless nights though, and no matter how tired I am, I can't sleep. Instead, I find myself entranced by the silvery slivers one moonlight that dance through my curtains. The silence of the house is all consuming, an eerie but calming quiet of the dead of night. So when I hear a chair upturn in the living room, I bolt upright.

I pad quietly downstairs, holding in my breath, even though it's just Niki making a midnight snack, or getting another book to read. I turn the corner, as I step off the last step and head through the doorway to the living room. There's a dark shadowy silhouette next to the window, and for some reason my stomach drops, fear prickling over my skin.

"Niki, what are you doing?" I call out softly. The figure turns sharply, face illuminated in the moonlight.

"Fundy?"

A/N Hello everyone! I'm sorry this chapter took so long to get out, I was a bit tired from starting school again, so I did the responsible thing and didn't push myself. (Look at me actually making good decisions for myself). Anyway...another cliffhanger because I love you all so much, and I'm just so nice. The question of the day, what is fundy doing in their house? Stay tuned...

Please comment your thoughts and ideas, I appreciate it immensely and it really helps me out.

I hope you all enjoyed!
