Welcome to the world of Mafia. Where elementals are forbidden and gang bosses were highly respected.
No honour, no emotions.
This is the story of a gang of six who weren't supposed to meet. But an undoubted fate led them together.
Nya sat on her motorcycle, with a rock and dagger in hand. She grated the rock on the dagger, sharpening it as it went. She felt a dark presence hover over her, the shadow blocking the only source of light in that garage.
"What do you want?" She asked in an annoyed tone, weary of getting too mad. Their recent mission was an obvious bust, noticing how she didn't join the others and was covered in bandages."We're discussing about the next mission," Jay told her, itching the gauze on his cheek. He was unfazed by her sour mood, everyone was on edge. Cole destroyed seven of the robot training dummies, twelve times each. It took longer to rebuild them than destroying them.
It was surprising, considering that they're almost indestructible because Jay, Nya, Zane and Pixal were the ones who created them.
Kai burned his katana. Again and again. It was now a puddle on the ground and it was starting to boil. Lloyd is wallowing in his thoughts, thinking he had failed his own team. Even though it wasn't his fault and it was obviously the opposite side who caused the harm. But obviously he was stubborn and refused to hear anything different.Zane didn't want to say anything that would trigger them. He was obviously very disturbed from earlier events but refused to show that. He wanted everyone to be on their feet even thought this was a traumatic loss.
Nya looked up once her dagger looked sharp enough. She stood from her bike, ignoring the sharp pains in her torso and thighs. Their stare was levelled, and immediately she pressed her dagger on his neck. He didn't flinch. Unamused, his frown deepened. "Why are we going on one already?" She asked.
"It's a new lead on our parents," he stated the obvious, his emotion neutral. "Unless I'm here to tell you that you didn't sharpen your knife properly." He was referring to the one on his neck that was slightly pressed against it. When they first met, he was scared shitless when she put her dagger near an area that could kill him instantly.
After five years, he figured it was a tactic to get him afraid of her. It didn't bother him a bit that a knife was near his jugular vein. A single swipe and we would bleed to death. He heard her exasperated sigh, moving the dagger away and tucking it in its sheath on her waist. "You're just salty that I dumped your ass," she snickered at him.
He raised a brow before turning around. "Who said I was into you in the first place?" She stared at him dangerously. You would expect two of the mechanics who weren't robots to get together and lazily bond over their shared hobby. Okay, everyone thought that. Even her brother asked about it.
In the end, they both had small feelings, tip toed around the label of them in a romantic relationship; and it didn't work out. As to why they've been glaring each other all the time for the month that they've broken up.It consisted of arguments after arguments. Until one of them (Nya) put her foot down and said that they were done. Although it was mutual -because they never clicked- there was underlying tension between them.
Every relationship had their good moments but it was too toxic for them.
"What do you mean?" Her hands clenched into fists, anger rising in her stomach as it raged in fury. They both put something in it and for him going around, mentioning that he never meant it hurt. She wasn't going to show that.
He looked back at her, continuing walking away as she followed subconsciously. "You know exactly what I mean."
"Last time I checked, I was the master of water." She said sarcastically.
