"I wonder what floor 200 is like." Itsuki pondered."Well, we are about to find out." Killua replied, and as if on cue, the elevator opened.
The trio strolled out, looking around.
"The reception should be... that way." Gon pointed to a dark corridor.
They made their way in. Itsuki felt uneasy just by looking at the corridor, it had an uncanny feel that she didn't like. The others felt it too.
Nonetheless, they marched on. However the further they went, the more uneasy they got, it felt like a brooding wind of malice, drowning them. Though, their stubbornness kept them going, trudging on.
Until, they saw a familiar figure showing up within a distance. It was Hisoka.
"Hisoka?!" Gon exclaimed.
"Long time no see~" The male said, plastering an unsettling smile.
"What are you doing here." Itsuki declared.
"I like fighting, is it really that much of a surprise that I turned up at Heavens Arena?" Hisoka questioned, resting his hands on his waist. " Just kidding~ it's pretty obvious to know where you are using the Hunter licence, I'm still waiting for the fight, Gon." Hisoka finally revealed his intentions. "What a shame that I can't let you pass yet~ You are still missing something~" And with that, Hisoka extended his hand, an wave of malice flooded the corridor. Itsuki cringed under the oppressive aura.
"Damn this clown." Itsuki muttered.
However, the three toiled on.
"STOP." It was Wing's voice. "With your ability now, you would not be able to pass his aura. Even worse, if you carry on, you could die."
"But-" Itsuki was interrupted.
"I will teach you how to pass his aura." Wing said, pushing up his glasses.
The trio looked at each other, deciding to retrieve.
"Forgot to mention~ If you don't register before midnight, you will have to start all over from floor one again~"
—
Wing lightly pressed his hand onto the wall of his room. Within seconds, the wall crumbled under his touch.
The three gasped.
"This is the power of Hatsu." Wing turned around to them. "It is the control of your life energy, in other words, your aura. Every living being possess aura, although very few knows how to control them"
"Everyone possess aura?" Gon questioned.
"Yes, but there are only two ways to awaken the power within your body. Awaken them naturally, or awaken them by force. Although it is best to use the former, like Zushi. Zushi works incredibly hard and is especially gifted; he only used six month to learn Nen."
Zushi held his head high, evidently proud.
"We don't have that much time! We have to learn Nen before midnight, we have less than three hours!" Killua called out.
"Therefore we can only awaken it by force."
"Will we make it in time if we use force?" Itsuki inquired.
"That would depend on how much effort you put in, depending if you are capable to learn how to control your aura within the time given." Wing explained as he extended his hand. " Now I will transfer my aura to you, Hatsu, the technique I used earlier to the wall."
The three suddenly looked very alarmed.
"Of course, I will not let out as much Hatsu that would be enough to harm you. The main purpose would be alerting your body, and forcing out your aura. With that, your aura nodes will be opened, therefore you would be able to activate 'Ten', and that would allow you to pass through Hisoka's Nen."
The three nodded.
"Now, I will transfer my aura to you. Please turn your backs to me."
They obliged, turning around.
Wing placed his hands behind their back. And there he went.
Three suffocating screams.
They panted loudly, bewildered by the overwhelming energy that just invaded their bodies.
Itsuki focused on her mind, feeling a flow of aura that surrounded her body. " This... feels weird."
The other two agreed.
"Now, close your eyes and focus, concentrate on keeping that aura within your body." Wing instructed.
The three closed their eyes, calming their unruly auras into calm, steady flows.
Wing widened his eyes, he faded into his thoughts. Amazing. No, frightening. These three kids are beyond gifted. I only gave them one advice yet they picked up the technique immediately. Unbelievable.
"Lions... it feels like I'm covered in steam." Itsuki described.
"Yeah... like I'm wearing a weightless coat." Killua added.
—
The trio once again appeared in front of Hisoka and his exuding aura. They stormed in, activating their 'Ten'.
This time, Hisoka's Nen did not affect them, they successfully reached the end of the corridor.
"Welcome to floor 200~" Hisoka smirked. " My guess is that your intention coming to Heavens Arena is to train and defeat me, right?"
"Ah. Didn't know you would turn up yourself, saved me a lot work." Gon's voice was deep.
Hisoka chuckled, "don't be too full of yourselves because you've learnt Ten. There's more to Nen than just Ten." Hisoka said as he manipulated his Nen into a heart shape. "Truthfully, with your strength now, I do not desire to fight you. Unless you can take down one win on this floor." Hisoka walked off.
—
"Woahhh! This room is massive!" Itsuki exclaimed as she ran around the room. "We don't have to worry about where to sleep anymore!" Itsuki threw herself on the bed, rolling on the soft sheets.
"As long as we don't lose four matches like the receptionist said." Gon added, looking out the window.
Itsuki trotted to where Gon was. "Do you think you'll be okay for tomorrow's match?" Itsuki said worriedly. "I say... even if you win tomorrow's match and come out unscathed, you still got Wing-san's wrath to go through. He told you not sign up for any matches for at least two months and you broke your promise on the first day."
—
As Gon expected, he lost his match, ending up with at least five broken bones and a slap from Wing for being reckless. Before he properly healed, Wing instructed that Gon would not use Nen and tied a string on his left pinky as a reminder not to break his promise.
For the rest of the month, Itsuki and Killua meditated with Gon, practising their concentration before they could use Nen again.
However one day, Itsuki did not turn up to their little training like she was suppose to. Killua looked into her room, the hallway, everywhere he could think of, but Itsuki was nowhere to be found.
