AUGUST 23RD, 1998

"Alright, I want all of you to be careful." Mrs. Weasley spoke sternly, a finger pointed at her sons and daughter, minus George and plus Hermione, Luna, Addy, and Harry.

"Yes, Mum, we've been home alone before." Ginny sighed with slight exasperation, reassuring her mother.

Both Mr. and Mrs. Weasley had decided to go on a trip for two nights, requiring a well deserved break from- well, everything.

The Weasley children schemed to bring out Firewhiskey in the absence of their parents, desiring to lose their pain and struggles in a reckless night.

"Well, if you need anything, we're only one owl away." Mr. Weasley waved one last time before he Apparated away with his wife.

"Free at last." Charlie muttered, flopping onto the couch lazily, "You would think they could trust their own children, and I'm a grown adult."

"Well, she does have a reason not to." Addy shrugged, settling herself down onto the floor beside Harry, "...Fred and George had the capability to burn down the entire house."

"Where is George anyways?" asked Hermione, who was curled into a comfortable armchair nearby.

Ginny grinned up flirtatiously from Luna's lap, "He's out with his girlfriend. A bit of a surprise for all of us to hear that he's dating again."

"Yeah, we haven't met her yet though." said Charlie, "But George's bringing her here today so we'll get the chance. And she's also a muggle."

"Really?" Addy scoffed in surprise, "How could he have met a muggle? I thought he rarely left the house."

"Beats me." shrugged Ron, "The girl's probably a relative of another wizard or something and maybe she visited Diagon Alley before? I dunno but whoever she is, she seems to be just right for George. He actually smiles now, much more than before."

George having a girlfriend was something completely out of the ordinary. He rarely dated, and while he did have a good reputation for massively flirting around the school, he never was found in a relationship for very long.

"Anyways," Ginny began, lifting herself from Luna's lap as she stood from her seat, "Will someone help me get the drinks from the attic?"

Percy, who had been seated on the other armchair, raised his brows in disbelief, "It's only seven thirty! You're planning on drinking now?"
