She had magic in her eyes even the stars envied

Addy, Hermione, and Ron hurriedly traveled through the Chamber and flew up the passageway, using the brooms Hermione had secretly stuffed into her beaded bag before their journey.

The fragmented remains of the horcrux burned a hole of success in Addy's pocket as they ventured forth, signifying that they were another step closer to their goal.

She didn't bother to pay attention to her change in surroundings once they had emerged from the Chamber and back into the girl's bathroom; her only thoughts were to find Harry and ensure he was untouched by the dark forces.

Addy couldn't dismiss the sharp bangs of spells ricocheting off the castle walls — her gut told her to prepare for whatever horrors she would experience that night.

As soon as the three resurfaced from the bathroom, she could notice the differences in her environment; foot long cracks were indented upon the stone walls and floors while sudden flashes of spells were visible from the tips of wands.

Students were racing in an orderly chaos, shouting at their friends as they fought off Death Eaters that had broken into the castle.

"Come on!" Ron roared over the noise to Hermione and Addy, "We've got to find Harry!"

"Let's check the Room of Requirement!" Addy suggested as they pushed their way through the packed crowds, "It'll be a start at least!"

The other two agreed as they grasped their wands in the tips of their fingers to fend off the curses that flew overhead.

Addy's heart was like a drum with an irregular rhythm, thudding so violently she could only hear the blood rushing past her ears clearly.

She knew Harry had to be alright; all the Death Eaters wouldn't be there, fighting with the students of Hogwarts if he was with Voldemort. The thought was enough to ease her anxiety as they travelled their way across the campus.

"LOOK OUT!"

The sound of Neville's frantic voice caused Addy, Hermione, and Ron to whip around defensively, allowing for them to discover a Death Eater, who she did not know the name of, milliseconds away from uttering a dangerous sounding spell.

Addy wasn't sure what had come over her in the instance, and she barely registered the nails of her fingers scratching against the heel of her hand. A burning sensation pricked behind her eyes just when a cry of pain infiltrated the atmosphere.
