Repentant tears wash out the stain of guilt.

Addy was up in her dorm room one night, working harder than she needed to to avoid Romilda Vane's venomous glare.

Her roommate hadn't spoken to her ever since the night of the party several weeks ago, spending her days sneaking around and returning to bed at late hours.

She had a sickening feeling that the love potion Romilda was rumored to give to Harry could possibly be brewing in a sacred location.

"Won-Won is an absolute angel!" Lavender was gushing emotionally, her hands clasped against her cheek, "He loved the necklace I gave him for Christmas!"

Addy sighed guiltily, knowing damn well Ron despised the jewelry. She chose not to say anything yet, just leaning back against her headboard and hugging her legs against her chest.

Parvati, from across the room, had grown easily tired of this nightly routine, so she was only half paying attention to Lavender's words, but seemed to try her best to listen in.

Hermione's curtains were drawn of course.

Romilda had left the dorm several minutes ago with no word to anyone, glancing suspiciously over her shoulder before disappearing behind the door.

When her footsteps faded completely, Lavender lowered her voice to a whisper, "What do you suppose she's up to?"

"Working on a love potion for Harry, that's what." Addy snorted with a roll of her eyes, "I really better monitor what he eats and drinks around the school to be safe."

Parvati grinned, "But you should've seen the look on Romilda's face when you kissed Ginny Weasley during that Truth or Dare game! How did Harry handle it?"

"He was irritated of course and fucked the life out of me afterwards, but he got over it." she chuckled, smiling to herself about the memories.

"Hey, Addy?" Lavender then interfered with a question, switching the subject quickly, "I've been meaning to ask you... do you know what's up with Ron lately? He's been acting kind of- different, if you know what I mean..."

Addy kept her eyes glued down to her bedsheet, wondering how she would break the news to her.

The truth was, Ron didn't seem to even care much for her anymore, or even in the first place, but he was Lavender's first love, and soon to be first heartbreak at that rate.
