Wanting was enough, for me it was enough

Addy's eyes slowly flickered open the following morning, and she winced from the bright sunlight that infiltrated the air. She had nearly forgot what happened the night before. Nearly.
She was laying on a bed in her room and she had no memory of travelling up there in the night. The late hours were blurred and blended into a droned recollection that was still hazy upon a glimpse of the past.
Harry filled her sight next after a moment, mending every fracture in her heart.
He was fast asleep, his chest rising and falling at a rhythmic tempo as his light breathing filled the room. One arm was draped over her waist, presumably keeping her close and warm throughout the night.
Her hand was gently cupping his cheek while his own closed around hers, allowing for her to feel his warmth that pressed into her palm. Sable strands of his hair messily laid over his forehead, covering the scar that the world recognized him as.
Addy figured she must have accidently fallen asleep downstairs in the sitting room, and he had carried her back to bed while kissing her tears away. Her heart swelled at the thought of him watching over her all night, holding her close to his chest while lowering his head to whisper loving words into her ear.
She couldn't help but admire the way he breathed while he slept, adoring how tranquil and peaceful he appeared while being off in wonderland rather than reality.
Her thumb absently caressed his cheek as she adjusted her position to level with his face on the bed; he was considerably taller than her and if they were to stand directly in front of each other, her forehead would just about scrape his chin.
Harry cracked an eye open eventually, smiling tiredly at her through his sleepy expression.
"Good morning." he whispered in a low, deep voice through a fond look, "How are you?"
She detected her cheeks glowing a rich shade of scarlet at the morning voice she had always been attracted by, even before they dated. She managed to meet his eyes while bringing her hand up to smooth the strands of his messy hair.
"Not good." Addy answered truthfully with a shrug, her tone quiet, "...I'm not sure when I'll ever be good again."
Harry sighed as he pursed his lips, staring through her so damn well.
"I suppose I could say the same." he met her eyes, "Sometimes I wish we just had a break from everything that's happening."
The green in his irises suddenly brightened as he sat up so abruptly that she flinched from the action. He threw his legs over the bed while urging for her to do the same, a smile playing with the corners of his lips.
