Addy was seated in Professor McGonagall's office, rubbing her sore, bloody knuckles.

She had punched Romilda Vane.

It all happened so quick, her fist colliding with her face, the shouts that escaped from the nearby students' mouths, and Harry and Ginny's firm grip on her arms to prevent her from doing any more damage.

All she saw was red. Including the blood on her hands.

Professor McGonagall had called in her parents to come discuss the matter, though her father declined.

Callista was present however, and was able to get to the school quickly, on account of her moving into a small flat above the Three Broomsticks in Hogsmeade.

Addy sunk into her chair as she kept her gaze down at the floor, avoiding the stern look her mother gave her.

Her toes remained pressed against the ground as her leg jiggled apprehensively, afraid to look up at the two most scariest woman she's possibly encounter.

"Ms. Stone." McGonagall said in a chilling tone, "You do know how getting physical with your peers is not tolerated here at Hogwarts."

She glanced up, taking note of the hands that were clasped upon the desk. Addy nodded.

The professor continued, "I don't understand the entire situation. This is not how you typically react, and even your mother says so."

"Adelaide never retorted to violence like that." Callista agreed, narrowing her eyes at her daughter, "Merlin knows where she picked that up from."

"Whom are you referring to?"

"The bloody headmaster of this school, obviously! "she snapped, seeming unable to hide the seething, "Dumbledore's practically sending this generation of witches and wizards into war, and of course he's teaching them terrible habits they shouldn't pick up at their age!"

McGonagall sighed, removing her spectacles, "I'm sure Professor Dumbledore has been trying his best to not send the wrong message. I know you watched your own classmates die-"

"I did." Callista muttered, "And I certainly do not want my daughter to go through the same thing I did."

Addy creased her brows with those words, wondering what her past was about, since it clearly seemed to haunt her in the current day.
