Knockout's P.O.V.

Things felt really....weird on the Nemesis. The Autobots remained on the ship for a little while, helping us clean up the mess. You'd think everyone would be at each other's throats right now. But while there were a few death glares, that was about it. It was like everyone understood we had a weird, silent truce. Especially considering how we lost Nightstreak....

Some of the Decepticons were in medbay, getting medical treatment from myself and the Autobot medic, Ratchet.

"Hold still, almost done...." Ratchet said, carefully patching up Shockwave's optic. I was busy treating Starscream's leg, which had been injured during battle. Luckily, it wasn't severe, and easy to patch up. However, he remained eerily silent the entire time. No complaints, no back talk, no small talk. He just....sat there, staring out into space. His optics looked dull, and I barely moved. I couldn't help but feel sympathy for him. I mean, he lost his closest partner. More than that....he lost his sister.

A sister he never knew he had. One who supported him no matter what, and stayed by his side. And now she's gone. That's a kind of bond no one can understand. A bond that only feels more painful when you lose it. I was still accepting it myself, and couldn't help but feel immensely guilty. I was the one that exposed her secrets. After she had treated me as a close friend, I was the one who betrayed her, and revealed everything. I turned everyone against her. And even despite all of that....she came back to help us. She still got the Autobot's support to help us. And now we'll never get to thank her for that. Or apologize for what we did....

I gave my head a slight shake to snap out of my thoughts. Now isn't the time to dwell on my own shame. I still have patients to treat. I left Starscream on his berth to rest so I could check on Megatron. He had a pretty bad gash on his arm, but he should make a full recovery within a week, and he should still be able to move around the ship more or less just fine. I looked at the computer to check his vitals as I spoke.

"My liege, are you feeling any better?" I asked. Megatron looked up at the ceiling, taking a deep breath and then exhaling.

"A little, yes." he said. I nodded. "Well, it seems like your arm was damaged badly. However, it should be fully healed within a week. But be easy on it for a few days." I said. Megatron nodded. "There, done. How do you feel?" Ratchet asked Shockwave. The scientist straightened up from his berth, looking around the room. "Much better. I can see clearly now. The repairs were acceptable." he replied.

"Okay, good." Ratchet replied. He grabbed his kit and looked to me. "It seems as everything is under control, so I shall report back to Optimus. I'm, uh, not sure how much longer we'll be here...." he said, looking away awkwardly.

"If you wish, you may return to your base. Soundwave will return you with our ground bridge. However, once I can move around better, I wish to speak to Optimus," Megatron explained, looking to the medic, "I don't suppose you could rely this message to your leader, could you?" Ratchet looked away for a moment, briefly having an angry expression on his face. But then it softened, and he nodded. Then he left the medbay in silence.

Once he was gone, Starscream suddenly got off his berth, grunting in pain as he stood on his injured leg. "I shall be leaving to my quarters." he said. I looked at him surprised and firmly shook my head.

"What?! Starscream, don't be ridiculous. You shouldn't be walking for at least a few days," I stated, walking over to him and placing a hand on his shoulder, "Now please, lay down, you need to rest-"

Starscream growled and swatted my hand away.

"Do not touch me." he hissed. I retreated my hand, optics slightly widened. Then my expression softened. Megatron turned his head over to his commander, but remained silent. Instead, he just wore a similar expression of sympathy.
