Chapter 86

Starscream's P.O.V.

After the treaty was signed, things had changed significantly for everyone.

Megatron was willing to share any and all resources he had. Including returning any artifacts the Decepticons had stolen, all access to any files we had, and we even shared our large energon supplies with them. Megatron also offered to have them relocate to their ship entirely as a new place to call home, however the Autobots preferred to remain at their current base, just until the day comes when we go back to Cybertron.

Speaking of, Ratchet and Shockwave have been doing lots of research on how to revive it. With the information the Shadowcons left behind, they were able to discover a formula for a new type of cyber matter. One that had the potential to revive Cybertron. All we'd need to do is complete the formula and rebuild the Omega Lock, which we've been very busy to build on our ship. 

Once Cybertron is revived, we Decepticons believed we should leave our planet, and let the Autobots rebuild the planet on their own. Not out of disrespect, but so that we may not cause anymore harm. To our surprise though, Optimus insisted we stayed with them during Cybertron's future rebuilding, so as to be a reminder that the impossible is possible.

Before we can even think of returning to Cybertron, however, Megatron insists on one thing to be done....he wishes to track down Predaking. He was still on Earth somewhere, and since it was a Decepticon that revived him and brought him here, Megatron wants to make sure he can bring him back, so that Predaking can't disturb mankind. Shockwave was more than happy to hear this. While he won't openly admit it, he's been very concerned about his precious beast.

I only hope Predaking won't immediately try to destroy us.

Unfortunately, Predaking has been proven difficult to track down. Shockwave had micro-chipped him before he fled. However, our assumption is that during his escape, he somehow damaged it. As such, it's been much more difficult to find him, which is ironic considering he's a large metal dragon. How can anyone miss him?

In any case, a few months have passed since the treaty signing, and the Omega Lock was nearly complete. Right now I was assisting Bumblebee with some heavy lifting, carrying a large metal bar. I was a little anxious, since we were in space, and Earth was hundreds of miles below us. Falling wouldn't be fun.

"Ugh, why do these things have to be so heavy?" I muttered. Bumblebee beeped a response, and I sighed. "I know, I know. I guess I'm just complaining. I appreciate your assistance though. Strength is not one of my....well, strengths. I doubt I'd be able to carry any of these bars by myself." I said. Bumblebee looked back at me and perked up, happily beeping a "your welcome". We finally reached one of the Vehicons, who was busy using a welding machine to weld a part of the Omega Lock. When he spotted us he waved.

"Ah, Commander Starscream, over here." he said. Bumblebee walked over towards him, and placed the bar exactly where he wanted it. Afterwards I groaned, stretching my arms out and twisting my waist.

"Okay....do you require anymore supplies?" I asked, slightly out of breath. 

"No sir. But I believe section C does over there." he said, pointing to all the way across the Omega Lock site. I sighed, nodding. "Very well. I suppose we should recover another metal bar then." I said to Bumblebee.

"That won't be necessary." Megatron replied over the comm link. I perked up. 

"Ah, Mast- uh, er, I *clears throat* M-Megatron?" I said.

"You and Bumblebee have worked for quite awhile now. You're free to relax for the rest of the day. I'll have Breakdown and Bulkhead take over." Megatron said. I nodded. "I see. Thank you, sir." I said. I turned off my comm link and sighed. Ever since the treaty signing, Megatron has insisted we never speak to him as a warlord. As in, no more calling him Master, Lord, liege, or anything of that sort. And it was a surprisingly hard habit to break.
