I sit on my bed reading Harry Potter for about the hundredth time in my life, as classical music plays in the background, and a box of fudge rounds sits by my side.  Luckily, I got my paper written yesterday, and I think I'm going to get an A.

I haven't talked to Zeke or Will in days. I just.....need time to think, I guess. I hate that Zeke is making me choose. Then again, it's kind of sweet. Sweet in a jerky way, but sweet all the same.

I turn a page as I hear my phone ring. I groan as I get up and over to my dresser, where I've left my phone.

     Will.

      Oh, joy.

I quickly debate weather or not I should answer.

Even if I get together with Zeke, i'm still friends with Will right? It works both ways. Neither of these men can control my happiness. I won't let them.

I answer the phone, feeling a little awkward, "Hello?"

      "Sidney, hey!" I hear Will.

     "Hey, Will. What's up?"

"Nothing. I'm just driving. On my way to work. What are you doing?"

     "Reading."

He makes a fake gasping sound, "Reading? You mean like recreational reading? Not for school? You're not working on a paper, or studying?"

I smile a little, "Nope! Finished the paper yesterday."

"Well, would you listen to that? Sidenys doing something for herself for once."

"Yeah. I need to do that more often."

     "Yes, you do."

We're both silent for a minute.

Will ventures, "So, how are classes going?"

"Good. Classes are good." I answer quietly.

     He pauses, "That's it?"

     I shrug, "Yeah."

He listens to my silence for a minute, "Are you okay, Sidney?"

I furrow my eyebrows, "What? Yeah. Of course. I'm fine. Just.....tired. College, you know."

     "Are you REALLY fine?"

I click my tounge, "Yeah. I mean, maybe. Probably, I am."

     "You don't sound fine."

"But I look it." I try to joke.

     "Sidney." He trys to reason.

I sigh, "You know Zeke, right?"

Will pauses, "Yes. I'm familiar with him."

I half grunt, "He asked me to be his girlfriend."

He doesn't respond, but I still hear his breaths on the other line.

     "Will?"

"Oh. Well, um, good for you. I'm happy for you. I don't know what he looks like, but I'm sure you're cute together." He stutters.

"Will," I say slowly, "I haven't said yes."

     He considers, "Why not?"

I make a noise in the back of my throat, "I just haven't decided if I want to or not."
