Arc 1: Chapter 1

Classes have started and all you did was listen, understand, and take notes.

Once the current subject ended, you took a break and went to the cafeteria.

In your last school, you barely had friends. So it was not unusual for you to be alone.

You were already used to loneliness.

After buying your lunch, you bumped into someone while walking.

"Ack- I'm sorry." The person said.

You looked at the person with lifeless eyes and discovered that he was extremely handsome.

Sandy blonde hair and grey blue eyes. It was an exceptional look and he had a charming presence around him.

Little did you know that he was looking at your E/c orbs mesemerizingly and stared at your appearance for quite a while.

"It's alright." You quickly evaded him and continued to walk.

"Edmond! Sorry, the queue was very long. Here, your lunch."

"Lance, do you know that girl?" He pointed at your back.

"Hm? Ah, she belongs to class 1 in 2nd year. She recently transferred because of scholarship. News spread fast after all." Lance said as he munched his lunch.

"What's her name?" Edmond asked.

"Oof- Did I hear that clearly? Our campus crush is asking for a girl's name!?"

"Cut it."

"Her name is Y/n L/n." Lance replied quickly.

"Hmm. I see. Let's go."

*Slide-*

You opened the door and entered the classroom.

The break was an hour long. Since you don't have anything to do, you just slept on your desk.

You woke up again when classes started.

"Okay. Who can answer and explain this equation here? Anyone?"

The problem was easy in your eyes.

You raised your hand and the teacher called you.

"Yes, L/n."

You stood up and started stating the answer clearly in specific. Your explanation was brief yet it was probably the most correct answer that held an impact.

You didn't realize that two crimson eyes were staring at you openly.

'....'

"Correct. You can take your seat." The teacher said.

Mathematics was the last subject of the day and it was time to go home, yet you were stopped by four certain girls.

"Are you Y/n?" One of them asked.

"Yes. Why?" You asked thinly.

"I saw you bumping on Edmond earlier. Did you do that on purpose?" Another asked.

You didn't know what they were talking about. Who is who?

"No." You replied briefly.

"Look at this slut. It's only her first day here yet she's already seducing someone."

You didn't realize that a slap landed on your cheek.

When you felt the hurting sensation, you were reminded of your relative's abuse and your hands shook in fear.
