Arc 2: Chapter 6

"What's going on here?" Davis asked in a cold voice.

"Your- Your highness." The three maidservants bowed.

Y/n also bowed when she noticed his presence.

"I'll ask you once again. What is going on here?" He repeated.

"I- No we, we were just-"

*Slash!*

The other maid's neck got sliced off.

"You can't even answer properly."

"Spare us your highness!!" The other two bowed in their knees.

"You." He looked at Y/n.

"Yes your highness?"

"What were you doing?" He asked.

"I was just looking for the kitchen." Y/n casually replied.

"She's lost her mind. How can she disrespect his highness?" The other said in a shaky voice.

"Shh! Shut up or that bastard's gonna kill us!"

The two bowing maids whispered at each other in a small voice as much as they can.

But Davis already heard everything.

*Slash!*

The two maid's head fell off like a ball.

'Ah, now I know why there are not that many servants in here.' Y/n thought as she looked at the bloody prince.

He took one glance at Y/n and felt something different.

It was like... her appearance was prettier than usual.

Davis found himself incredulous as he thought about it.

'Bullsh*t.' He denied it.

"Filthy blood." Davis left after he killed off the maidservants.

Y/n looked at the lifeless bodies flowing with blood in front of her.

'I'm hungry.'

Y/n walked away and continued to look for food.

After a while, she finally found the kitchen.

She saw many kitchen staffs walikng in and out of the kitchen.

"Excuse me." She stopped a certain maid.

"Yes?"

"Can I have food?" Y/n asked.

"What? Oh no, Wait over here." The maid replied.

After a few minutes, the maid gave Y/n a basket of fruits.

"Thank you." Y/n said.

"Then, I'll get going first."

Y/n wondered why the maid easily gave her food like that.

She brushed off the thought and walked back towards her room while eating the fresh fruits.

The apple was crunchy and juicy and it filled her hungry stomach.

When she arrived at her room, she felt that it was too boring.

Since she didn't have anything to do, she just lied on the bed and started closing her eyes.
