Arc 3: Chapter 6

"Y/n! Over here!" Tanya, Y/n's editor waved at her.

Y/n ran towards her and entered the building together with her.

"What's the occassion today?" Y/n asked.

"It's the day where the famous celebrity of 'Eyes to see' will come and visit. You know, Henry Zi?"

"Ah, the one on the billboard?"

"Bingo."

"Why is he coming to visit though?"

"To meet you of course!"

"What? You already know that I don't approve of any meet-ups. Why are you suddenly deciding something like this huh? Now, tell me. Or else I'll quit this company and-"

"Y/n!! Pleeeeease just this once! I already told the ceo that you approve of this." Tanya literally knelt to the ground just for this.

"I want a one-month vacation. Period. Tell everyone that the famous author Egbertyne has decided ro rest after many years of continuous writing."

"One- One month?!"

"Y/n." A voice suddenly interupted.

She turned around and saw the ceo. Zander Gregory.

"Sir Zander." Y/n greeted.

Y/n noticed that there was someone standing behind him.

"This is Henry. He will act out the main character of your story; Eyes to see."

"Henry Zi." He offered a handshake.

"Y/n L/n." She shook his hand.

"So you are the famous Egbertyne? It's such a pleasure to meet you."

"Likewise Sir Henry." Y/n didn't care.

All she wanted to do was go home and take a rest. And maybe talk with her lovely neighbor somehow.

Somewhere from afar, Y/n saw a familiar image.

It was Vaughn.

He was with an older lady and another beautiful lady. His face looked very displeased while the beautiful woman's face was rather happy.

'Where are they going?' Y/n was curious.

"Then shall we proceed to the reading room?" Zander said.

"Ah, yes."

"How old are you dear?" Vaughn's mother asked.

"I'm coming nineteen next month Madam Gregory." Hannah replied.

"Hm I see. Where is your mother right now by the way?"

"She's still resting at her yacht somewhere."

While the two ladies were chatting vigorously, the only thing that Vaughn wanted to do was get out of this suffocating mess and meet Y/n.

'Y/n.'

Hannah took a glance on Vaughn and noticed that he was surprisingly handsome. 'He looks good I might say.'

She glanced at his body features and it was also passable.

'I've decided. I'll choose him.' She grinned.

"How about you Vaughn? What's your ideal woman?" She asked.

When Vaughn heard the question, all that came into mind was Y/n's beautiful image.
