Arc 2: Chapter 5

"Where are you going to take me, your highness?" Y/n asked.

"Just shut up."

"Okay."

'Which one is better... a long and tortorous death or a quick one? I've already experienced a lot of quick deaths. How about the former?'

The two of them arrived at the fountain in the middle of the garden.

"Hey. What are you thinking?" Louis asked in an irritated tone.

"Just something about how I should die."

"You're really a weird one huh." He muttered.

"How about you, your highness? Would you rather have a long, torturous death or a quick one?" Y/n fearlessly asked.

"I'd choose the torture-"

"How dare you- did you just ask a prince about how he should die?" He cut her off.

Louis looked at Y/n and her face expression didn't change.

His hands reached for her neck and strangled her.

'Oh, another one.'

"Euk- please..."

This was the thing what Louis waited for.

The word 'please' to come out from her very own mouth.

"What did you say?" He evilly smiled as he leaned closer towards her.

"Please.."

"Please?"

"Choke me tighter." She grinned.

When Louis heard this, he immediately released her.

*cough* *cough*

Y/n coughed and she felt her neck hurt a bit.

'My wound is opening again.'

"Just you wait. I'll make you beg for real." Louis mumbled.

Y/n didn't hear him since she was too busy pressing on her wound so that blood would stop flowing.

But it didn't work.

"Hey, your neck-"

"What's this?" A voice interrupted.

A gray haired man came from the woods.

"Davis."

[A/N: Davis is the gray-haired 5th prince.]

"Who's that woman Louis?" Davis looked at Y/n like she was some disgusting animal.

"Greetings your highness. I am Y/n. A maidservant of Wallen duchy." She introduced.

"And why is a filthy person like you here in the imperial palace?" He drew his sword.

"Withdraw your sword Davis." Xavier ordered.

"So you finally arrived?" Gerald said.

"Seems like everyone is gathered here right now." Cain spoke as he looked at Y/n.

Y/n looked at the five princes who killed her in the same way over and over again.

She didn't feel any hatred or resentment towards them.

Right now, she just want to die by one of their hands literally.

"Xavier, explain why there is a lowly maid here right now." Davis said as the tip of his sword landed at Y/n's cheek.

"She's a sacrifice from Wallen duchy." Xavier replied.

"Sacrifice? Why need a sacrifice when I already killed all of them?" Davis smoothly stated.
