My squad and I were moving on the north to head over to the military town known as Soldier Falls to resupply and rest up before our next mission. It was around 3 pm in the afternoon and we were so tired that we just couldn't wait till we go to a motel and have some actual food instead of rations, but we have to wait a while longer and the men were either chatting or taking a power nap. Me, I was just looking out outside from the tiny window wondering about what Soldier Falls looks like since this is my first time ever going there since I joined the army 3 years ago. I hope it's alright. Well, might as well take a nap since this is gonna take a while.

After one of the men shook me to wake up, we arrived at the town, and it looks cool.

I got out of the vehicle and followed the group to the hotel they got here and our commander order us rooms then told us to get shower up, dress decent and do what we wanted to do as long we were up and ready for the morning to do some resupplies.
We did all of that then we headed over to a restaurant that was a tavern and a steakhouse so this should be good. We arrived and it was mostly empty for some reason but this was good for us as we were able to find seats and we waited till someone comes over to take our orders. Then a minute later, a waitress went over to take the orders.

Waitress- Why hi there guys, I'm gonna take care of all of you here tonight, the names Claire and what kind of drinks can I get you guys right now?
Then they told their orders to claire and it looks like she was having a slightly hard time keeping track of all of their constant barking and mild flirting. When she got to me, I wanted something simple so I don't have a rotting headache in the morning.
Claire- And what would you like sir?
Y/N- I want just some water if you don't mind and don't worry about ice, I'm not really bothered by it. Thank you, Claire
