Author's POV

It was night when Taani finally reached home. The driver opened the door for her and she stepped down from the car carefully, holding her belly. She walked slowly towards the door, it was already open. She frowned before walking inside, her heartbeat raised seeing the whole mansion immersed in darkness. She stilled at her place, not wanting to walk in dark and trip over something, she didn't want to harm her child.

Standing at her place, she called out for Rey,

"Rey! Rey! Are you there?"

She didn't get any response, so she tried again,

"Rey! Kahan ho aap? Ghar mein andhera kyu hai? Please, bahar aaiye, mujhe darr lag raha hai."

As soon as she said that, she felt two arms wrapping around her from back and caressing her swollen belly lovingly. She sighed in relief feeling the familiar touch,

"Rey, kahan the aap? Pata hai kitna darr gayi thi? Or ye andhera kyu hai?"

She continued asking him questions but stopped when she heard him chuckling, he nuzzled his head in her hair and whispered in her ears, so close that his breath hit her back of the neck making her shudder,

"Shh jaan. Shaant ho jao meri Jodhpur Express." Her mouth turned into a big 'O' at his words, she huffed making him laugh lightly before he said, "Tumhe darne ki kya zarurat hai mere hote hue I won't let anything bad happen to you and our little munchkin. And as for the darkness, it's because......."

He trailed off and she asked confused,

"Because?"

He clicked his fingers and immediately lights came back, her face which was ashen wth fear before regained it's red hue seeing the sparkling fairly lights and flowers adorning the whole house along with balloons and candles. The view looked so romantic and beautiful that she shrieked in happiness and glee,

"Eeeee. Wow! Rey, ye sab kitna beautiful hai."

She exclaimed turning around to face him, he was standing there smiling at her, cupping her cheeks he asked,

"I am glad you liked it. But this is not all, abhi to real surprise baki hai."

Her eyes gleamed in excitement and she jumped a little,

"Really? Kya?"

He admired his childlike woman for a minute, before saying,

"To know that you would have to do something first."

Pouting she asked,

"Kya?"

Turning her around so her back faced him, he brought a black cloth from his pocket and tied the blindfold around her eyes,

"Rey, ye kya kar rahe hai aap? Main chalungi kese ab?"

He tied it around securely before answering holding her shoulders,

"When your chauffeur is here, why to fear Mrs. Singhania?"

He said cheekily before lifting her in his arms bridal style making her squeal loudly, she clutched her arms tightly around his neck,

"Rey, ye kya? Please niche utariye, ab mera weight pehle jesa nahi hai."

"Ohho, bas jaan. Kitni tension leti ho, you are not heavy. Or don't worry tumhe nahi giraunga."
