Author's POV

Rey entered the private ward to finally see her. His family and the whole gang had already left after seeing her for home, only Rey and Swaron was there and they would too leave at night as only a single person is allowed to live in the ward with the patient. All of them met her but he waited to meet her in last so he wouldn't leave her after that for a single second. After all he couldn't see her for one whole month and now even though she was there in front of his eyes, but in this condition. He never wished to see her like this. There was no glow, no shine on her face. Just that mask which was making sure that his Taani could breath properly.

Walking up to her bed, he looked at her, he was just staring at her taking her whole self in, as if memorising her every inch. Even like this she looked like an angel lying down peacefully, he chuckled when a memory resurfaced suddenly.

Flashback

Taarey were in the kitchen when Taani was making their dinner, Taani went towards the cupboard to pull out the container of the flour. Since the cupboard was a little high, it was a little difficlut for her so she heard Rey say,

"Jaan, what are you doing? Ruko, main nikal deta hun."

But as if she has ever listened to him, so she shook her head saying,

"No need Rey, itna sa to kaam hai main karlungi."

Saying that she started pulling out the container but suddenly losing balance the container fell making a heavy shower of flour to rain upon her while the box fell down on the floor with a thud. Rey was shocked for a second at what happened while Taani too stood there freezed on her spot.

He first looked at the container and the flour on the floor before his eyes went towards her, she had flour on her whole body and she looked like a white clown. Soon he burst out in a loud laughter shaking his head at her. She made a pout hearing his laughing fits, and folded her hand on her chest trying to glare at him but was not able to since she couldn't open her eyes because of flour, still she said pouting at him,

"Rey aap mujhpe has rahe hai?"

Rey tried really hard to control his laughter but then said,

"To or kya karu? Haalat dekho apni, mene kaha than a main kardeta hu. But nahi madam ko meri sunni kahan hoti hai."

Taani made a crying face at him, her whole body was covered in flour, shaking his ehad Rey moved towards her, holding her face he rubbed the flour from her eyes,

"Ab theek hai?"

Taani nodded still pouting at her condition, Rey picked her in his arms making her shriek,

"Rey kya kar rahe hain aap?"

He started walking towards their bedroom picking her in his arms,

"I am taking you to help you clean up."

He entered their bathroom and put her in the shower cubicle, she felt a little conscious and nervous there so she said,

"Rey..aap.."

He started the shower and the water started flowing down on their bodies, she shivered feeling the cold water descending down, he laughed a little seeing her glaring at him but then he looked at her pout and wide eyes, he said without even thinking,

"You don't know how irresistible you look right now."

Rey said looking at her caressing her cheeks, she rolled her eyes at him,
