The sunlight fell on her eyelids breaking her slumber, Taani rubbed her eyes to shoo away sleepiness and ran her hand besides her on the bed to cuddle to him but found no one. Her eyes opened and she woke up to find the room empty, she sat up on the bed confused that's when she remembered the events of yesterday. The most bitter truth she came across.
Her eyes teared up slightly when she heard his cheerful voice,
"Good morning jaan! Breakfast in bed for you is here."
Rey said entering in the room with a food trolley. She wiped her tears away and tried to smile but he saw them anyway and walked to her slowly sitting on the bed in front of her he cupped her cheeks,

"Roya mat karo."
Her lips trembled and she tried saying,
"But Rey our ba..bab..."
He shushed her keeping his finger on her lips,
"Who said we don't have one, see I have you, my most precious baby and you have me. We tease each other and at the same time care for each other, hum ek dusre ka khyaal bhi rakhte hai just like a child, tantrums bhi bear karte hai. Sari wishes bhi puri karte hai ek dusre ki. And I even call you baby. Bas hai to hamare pas hamre babies. Or kya chahiye?"
He said smiling at her widely, taking the plate from the trolley he fed her the first bite saying,
"Chalo ab bas bahot rona-dhona ho gaya. Jo hogaya hum usse change nahi kar sakte but pure life uspe ro bhi to nahi sakte na. We have to move on, and from today we will move on happily okay!"
She nodded smiling, and hugged him tightly, he too reciprocated the hug with equal love and care before she broke it and fed him too. They had breakfast together feeding each other, when Rey's phone rang, he looked at the caller ID and frowned, he got up and went a little far to attend the call making her frown. He picked up the phone and waited for Vishal, one of his employess to say,
"Sir, we found him! You were right, he was the one."
His anger blazed and his fist tightened at his phone,
"Wait there I am coming!"
Rey told him and getting an answer of affirmation he cut the call. Changing his demeanour in a second he turned to Taani who was done having her breakfast, walking up close to her he pecked her forehead,
"Jaan, I really have important work to do in office today. I am leaving, you get ready and take care of yourself today okay!"
She nodded at him, pecking her lips one more time, he went out of the room after picing his laptop bag and mobile phone while Taani went to get ready.
