Author's POV

Taani entered the house hell tired after the meeting, she was looking worn out. She wondered if Rey was back from the office and if he got her message about her being late. She was confused seeing the whole place immered in darkness and was going to walk upstairs when she halted hearing his voice,

"So you are finally back?"

Taani was shocked at first hearing him but then relaxed,

"Aap? You came early today?"

But her confusion increased seeing his expressions, he was looking at her in rage, but his words were calm,

"Yeah! Main to aa gaya tha, you say, tum itni der kahan thi? Or I should ask kiske sath thi?"

She really didn't like the tone he was using but still replied,

"Vo actually aaj Vansh ke sath dinner meeting thi, Vansh Sharma, CEO Paradise fashion, ek naye clothing line ke silsile mein."

He was still standing there rigidly not giving out any expressions,

"Dinner meeting, aisa konsa dinner tha jo raat 12 baje tak chala?"

She frowned saying,

"nahi dinner ended early, vo meri car bhi to kharab ho gayi thi so he then dropped me home now..."

He cut her off in between,

"Dekha mene, how he dropped you home. Vese badi achhi friendship h gayi hai, I mean hugging and all.."

Her frown deepened hearing his words, she knew where the conversation was going but decided to stay calm,

"Esa kuch nahi hai Rey, we are just colleagues."

Saying that she was going to walk up the stairs but he came in front of her stopping her way,

"Bas colleague hai, to itna hugging and all kyu?"

Although he was damn angry he was speaking so calmly but all his words were hurting Taani a lot, but he couldn't care less. All he could see was his wife's frame in that man's arms while he hugged her tightly, jealousy was screaming out of his body seeing the view. Moreover men knew when someone is hugging someone in friendly way or in some other way being men themselves, and that man's posture screamed how he was lusting over his wife so he couldn't take it at all. Taani was his wife, and he won't allow any scumbag to lust over her or touch her in a bad way but guess Taani didn't look into it that way and couldn't detect that guy's ill intentions and that made him more furious.

On the other hand Taani was angry herself but kept quite, trying not to accelerate the fight, when she ehard him speak again,

"Or agar dinner pe jana hi tha, bata bhi to sakti thi na. Ye chhup chhup ke kyu?"

He head snapped at his direction hearing his accusations,she looked at him with disgust,

"Mujhe koi kaam chupke karne ki zaroorat nahi hai Rey, when I know I have done nothing wrong. In fact I left you a message, agar kaam se fursat mile to kabhi apne messages check karliya kijiye."

His anger increased hearing her words, she was going to walk awa and that raised his fury, he clutched her hand tightly and pulled her in his arms, he held her shoulders in a tight grip jerking her a little, she winced in pain but he didn't pay heed to it,
