Author's POV

Rey drove the car at a full speed not caring about anything or anyone, he just wanted to reach the hospital soon. He was at a call with Taani when the sound of cars crashing and tumbling reached his ears. After a long month, Taani had finally called him but the only word he could hear her say was his name. However his happiness was short lived as soon the line went dead, and he collapsed thinking about what had happened. When someone called him again from Taani's phone stating that she and the driver is in the hospital.

He didn't even take a second from barging out of the house and rushing to hospital. His heart was literally in his mouth and he was driving rashly. His heartbeats were running fast that he could even feel the movement of his heart. He was just praying to God and hoping that his Taani would be safe.

The car screeched in front of the hospital. Parking th car he rushed in the hospital. He was looking so frantic, moving towards the receptionist he fumbled in nervousness,

"Taa..Taani... Singhania!"

The receptionist took a moment, searching the name on her system and then said,

"Yeah, ICU 4 , 2nd Floor"

Rey immediately ran towards the lift, going in he pressed the button and was impatiently waiting for the lift to finally stop. He barged out as soon as the lift reached the second floor. The doctors were standing outside the ICU discussing something when he reached there, they looked at Rey,

"Yes?"

"Reyansh Singhania, Taani Singhania's husband."

The doctor nodded, saying something to the nurse he patted Rey's shoulder and said,

"Please come with me."

"But Taani..."

He said wanting to see her just once, the doctor looked at him sympathetically, but sighed,

"Don't worry, the doctors and nurses are looking after her."

Rey nodded and followed the doctor not before stealing a last glance at her room. They entered the doctor's office and he asked Rey to take a seat, Rey sat down but his leg and hands were continuously shivering in anxiousness, he looked at the doctor when he finally started speaking,

"The accident was really bad. Car puri tumble ho chuki thi, jiss wajah se bahot sare mirror pieces se scratches aaye hai. Bahot blood loss hua hai. Though the driver is safe now but Taani ki condition kafi critical hai. We are checking for any internal injuries or bleeding, with god's grace sar pe koi chot nahi aayi hai. But abhi hum baki kuch nahi keh sakte. Just hope ki blood loss kam ho jaye or koi internal bleeding nah o, nahi to coma mein jane ke chances badh sakte hain."

His hands and feet went cold hearing the doctor, his heart stopped beating for a moment, holding his tears at bay he was fighting really hard to not break down in front of him. The doctor gave him a look of sympathy, he could say that the man sitting in front of him loved his wife a lot because he had rarely seen guys crying for their wives.

Gathering some courage Rey asked him, clearing his throat,

"To ab kya doctor?"

He looked at Rey saying,
