Part 18

The next day

They all woke up and had their breakfast. While leaving Ashina noticed that Unns was upset. So they decided to talk to her alone.
They'all got home. After few hours, Unns's bell rang. It was Ashina.

Unns: Hi girls! Tum log yaha?

Aashna: Kyu hum nhi aa sakte?

Unns: Pagal ho? Come come.

They went to Unns room. Ashina again noticed Unns to be upset so they decided to ask her finally.

Aashna: Kya hua hai Unns? Are you upset?

Unns: How do you know?

Ashi: Aapki shakal saaf saaf bta rahi hai ki there is something which is affecting you.

Unns hugged them and started crying.

Unns: Mere mann mein bahot mixed thoughts chal rahe hai.

Aashna: Please Unns stop crying and explain kya hua hai?

Unns stopped crying

Unns: Kal hum jab movie dekh rahe the. Did you guys notice how sweetly Manav took care of me?

Ashi: Yes we did. Bahot cute lg rhe the aap dono.

Aashna: Isme upset hone vaali kya baat hai?

Unns: Let me complete na.

Aashna: Acha continue

Unns: When you guys were all asleep, he was up and he thought me to be asleep as well but I was awake. He caressed my hair and said "Unsu you are the best thing that ever happened to me. I can't imagine my life without you. You are my 11:11 wish. I can never explain what you mean to me. I wish I can confess what I feel for you. But I fear if I come close to you I might hurt you which I would never want. Wish I could make you mine." and with this he kissed my forehead and slept. I couldn't sleep the whole night. I was thinking this only that if he feels for me then what is stopping him from confessing? Why is he so doubtful? Why can't we be together?

She had tears in her eyes. Ashina hugged her.

Aashna: He might be having a reason.

Ashi: He won't ever hurt you.

Unns: I know that and mujhe is baat se problem nhi hai ki I am getting affected. Mujhe is baat se problem ho rhi hai ki vo khud ko itna hurt kyu kr rha hai.

Ashi after realizing: I might know the reason.

#AU were confused.

Ashi: When Manav was in college. There was a girl whom he liked. It was a mutual feeling between the two. The girl's dad was not in favour of their relationship so the girl ended up her life and Manav ko lagta hai ki ye sab uski vjh se hua hai. Maybe this is the only reason. 

Unnati got emotional listening to Manav's past.

Unns: My poor Manav. He has gone through a lot. Oh god. It must have been so hard for him. I can only imagine how he managed to get out of that grief.

Aashna: Yes we can only imagine. But in sab mein uski koi galti nhi thi.

Ashi: Sab usse bahot samjha chuke hai but vo samajhna hi nhi chahta.

Unns was quite.

Ashi: Aap tension mt lo nons. I'll talk to him.

Unns: Nhi please. I don't want ki vo dobara hurt ho please. Promise me?

Ashi agreed.

After leaving from Unnati's house, Ashi went to Damnfam house.

Arsh: Aagyi tu. Mai tera hi wait kar raha tha.

Ashi: Kya hogya?

Arsh: Deenu ko pta nhi kya hogya hai. Subah se udaas baitha hai. Tu hi thik kar sakti hai uska mood.

Ashi knew what has happened to Manav but she had also promised Unnati. She can't see her bestfriends suffer like this so she said sorry to unnati in her head and went to Manav.

Manav was lying on the bed.

Ashi: Hiii

Manav: Aagyi tu

Ashi: Kya hogya?? Aise kyu baithe ho?

Manav: Bas kuch nhi

Ashi: Mujhe pagal banaoge? Aapko pta hai aap mujhse jooth nhi bol sakte.

Manav didn't say anything.

Ashi: Is it about Unnati? Right?

Manav still didn't say anything.

Ashi: Kyu kar rahe ho aap aisa? Aapko pta bhi hai ye sab karke aap khud ko aur usse kitna hurt kar rahe ho? Jo bhi hua aapke past mein usme aapki koi galti nhi thi. Aap kyu samajhna nhi chahte ho? Mujhe pta hai aapko bahot time lga un sabse nikalne mein but kyu un sab ki vjh se aap apna present aur future kharab kar rahe ho ? Aapko Unnati jaisi nhi milegi aur naa hi usse aapke jaisa milega? Kya aap shaanti se baith paoge usse kisi aur ke saath dekhkr?

Manav: Ashi you know what? Unnati means the world to me. I fear ki mai usse bhi hurt na kardu. Mujhe Arsh ne bhi samjhaya tha but all these thoughts, they make me go insane. I want happiness for her aur kuch nhi.

Ashi: Kya ajeeb ho tum dono yaar. Vo bhi vaha issi baat pr ro rhi hai ki aap khud ko itna hurt kyu kar rahe ho. Jaise aap apne se zyada uske baare mein soch rahe ho vo bhi apne se zyada aapke baare mein soch rhi hai. Infact usne toh mujhe aapse is regarding baat karne ke liye bhi mana kiya tha taaki aap aur hurt na ho. Jab itna pyaar karte ho toh kyu hurt ho rahe ho? Bhul jao Manav sab. Sab past tha. Apne present aur future ke baare mein socho jo aapke saamne hai aapka wait kr rha hai.

Manav had tears and he hugged Ashi.

Manav: Thank you Pingu. Thank you so much for making me realise this thing. You are right. I should think about my present and future. Jo hua usse bhulna hi better hai. I can't see my Unsu upset. I have to make it up for her. Thank you so much.

Ashi smiled.

Ashi: Ab zyada thanks mt bolo varna mai hawa mein udne lagungi aur niche utaarne mein aapko hi problem aayegi.

They both laughed.

Ashi: Ab bina time waste kiye kuch special socho meri Nons ke liye. Bahot rulaya hai aapne usse.

Manav: Ab fikar mt kar. I won't let a single drop of tear to come out from her eye. I promise.

Ashi: I am so happy for you both. Chalo mujhe ab treat do.

Manav: Kis khushi mein?

Ashi: Itni badi khushi ki baat hogyi aur aap kanjoosi dikha rahe ho.

Manav: Acha meri maa. Bta kya khaana hai?

Ashi gets excited and starts deciding what to eat.

Manav in his mind: My Unsu. I am sorry. I am sorry for hurting you. But now I have realised what I really want and it is you and only and only you. It's time for us to be together.
