National Best friend day!

A/N: Hey Ya'll!! So since it's National Best friend day, I decided to make a National Best friend day oneshot (Appledash Of course!) . So yeah, Hope you enjoy it! :)

Rainbow had woke up due to the sun shining really bright on her at 9:30am. She slowly opened her eyes and grabbed her phone to look at the time and todays date. 

Saturday, June 8th

Then she realized, It was national Best friend day. A great day to spend a Saturday. She got out of her bed and picked out her clothes for the day. She wore some jean shorts and a white shirt. She took a shower, Then brushed her teeth and washed her face. She also brushed and combed her hair. 

She went downstairs to make breakfast for herself. Her parents are at work, They'll be home early since it is Saturday. After Rainbow finished eating her breakfast she put her bowl in the sink.

She went upstairs and just sat on her bed lost in thought. Who was she gonna spend this day with? I mean she could spend time with all of her friends, But this year she thought it was best to spend time with one of them. Rarity? Nope. She'd be most likely spending time with Fluttershy. Then again, They hardly know each other. Pinkie? Pinkie did give Rainbow a gift the day before national Best friend day. But Pinkie did say she was gonna be busy in sugarcube corner. 

Twilight? I mean she could. But it would probably affect her differently since her and Twilight haven't knew each other for that long. Then again, She'd probably be with Timber Spruce or something. So that only leaves Applejack. She suddenly blushed at the thought, Applejack was Rainbow's for 2 years now. She also been her best friend since they were 11. Hanging out with Applejack had always felt different from hanging out with the others. Applejack didn't say she had anything to do, So she'll just go to her house. 

She got out of her bed and grabbed her phone. But before she left her room, She saw a bracelet on her dresser. She walked up to it and glanced at it. It was gold and it had a heart on it, She wore that necklace the day her and Applejack met. And surprisingly can still fit it. She smiled, She decided that she was gonna pass it on to Applejack. She put the bracelet on and walked out of her house. She got into her car and drove off.

Rainbow Dash arrived to Applejack's house. She didn't even tell her she was coming, Well it was suppose to be a surprise anyway. She smirked and got out of her car and went up to Applejack's door and rung on the doorbell. The door was answered by Granny Smith. 

Granny Smith: "Hello There Rainbow Dash. Here for Applejack I'm guessing?"

Rainbow Dash: "Yup." Rainbow said with a smile. 

Granny Smith: "Alright. Well she's in her room." Granny said. Rainbow thanked her and went upstairs to Applejack's room. She had a box in her hand, she smiled at it and placed it on her nightstand. Rainbow was curious, What was inside that box?

Rainbow Dash: "BOO!" She yelled as she slammed Applejack's door open. Applejack jumped and ended up falling off her own bed. Rainbow laughed, Applejack got back on her feet and crossed her arms. 

Applejack: "Rainbow Dash! Don't scare me like that!" Applejack yelled. Rainbow giggled. 

Rainbow Dash: "It's not National Best friend day for no reason." Rainbow smirked, Applejack rolled her eyes playfully and smiled. 

Applejack: "Well, Happy Best friend day." 

Rainbow Dash: "You too." Rainbow said. 

Applejack: "Soo..What should we do today? And what about the others?" Applejack asked curiously. 

Rainbow Dash: "Well, I just wanted to spend time with one of my friends. Meaning, The person i'm closest too. And you are one of those people that are close to me. Soo..yeah." Rainbow said with a cute grin, Applejack blushed. 

Applejack: "Aww that's so sweet Rainbow."

Rainbow Dash: "I know. Oh and about what we're doing today...I never even planned that." Rainbow said.

Applejack: "Well..We could have a picnic? I do have some picnic equipment." Applejack suggested with a smile, Rainbow smiled back.

Rainbow Dash: "Okay. That's cool."

Rainbow and Applejack were outside with the picnic equipment that was already set up for them. Rainbow planned on confessing to Applejack after she gave her her gift. Well, She had a little romantic way on giving Applejack her gift. It may not be perfect but it's worth it.

Applejack: "Soo..I have a present for you. That's in this box right here, I brought from the store this morning. It ain't perfect, But I hope you like it." Applejack said with a smile. Applejack handed the box to Rainbow. The same box she saw before bursting into Applejack's room earlier. She opened the box, She saw two silver bracelets. 

Applejack: "Pick one." Applejack reassured, Rainbow nodded and grabbed one. They were best friend bracelets. The bracelet RAainbow had was the other half of the other bracelet in the box. Rainbow put the bracelet on. It fit perfectly. She looked at Applejack and smiled at her. 

Rainbow Dash: "Thanks AJ. This was really sweet of you. I've never felt so appreciated..ever." 

Applejack: "Well, I may not show you or tell you how much I love you..But know that I love you more than life itself." Applejack said with a smile. Rainbow couldn't help it but hug her best friend. She hugged her tight, Applejack hugged back. After a few minutes, They broke the hug.

Rainbow Dash: "Thanks Apples." 

Applejack: "You're Welcome. It's okay if you don't have a present for me." Applejack spoke with a soft smile. Rainbow giggled mischievously.

Rainbow Dash: "Maybe...But have some popcorn." Rainbow said with a smirk. Applejack took some popcorn. Once she did, She found a bracelet. 

Applejack: "Isn't this the bracelet you wore when we met?" Applejack asked. 

Rainbow Dash: "Yeah..I decided to give it to you. And also..I kinda have a little crush on you." Rainbow said whilst blushing. Applejack's eyes widened. 

Applejack: "Really?"

Rainbow Dash: "Yeah..I've always looked up to you and..I have liked you from 2 years now. You're beautiful, Amazing, Kind, honest, and..everything in between. I just wanted you to know that because..You deserve to know." Rainbow concluded her statement with a smile. Applejack was lost for words. She didn't know her best friend felt this way about her. And having feelings for her? That's unexpected. 

Applejack: "Well..I'm glad you feel that way about me. You're amazing also. In fact, Your ten times as amazing as me. And also, I like you too." Applejack admitted with a smile, Rainbow smiled back.

Rainbow Dash: "Hm, Cheesy mess." Rainbow smirked, Applejack blushed.

Applejack: "Shut up Rainbow Dash!" Applejack said with a slight giggle. 

Rainbow Dash: "Well I mean, That was kinda cheesy. And me being cheesy is a different story because the only reason behind my cheesiness is you. And That's exactly why I love you." Rainbow said with a smile.

Applejack: "I love you too, Rainbow Dash."
