*~ Setting off ~*

I awoke to an unfamiliar room that was lit by the golden glow of a torch. I sat up and tried to remember where I was. I glanced over to my side and looked at the book I was reading last night. I then noticed the soft pitter-patter of rain. Then I remembered that that was what I was taking shelter from. I looked at the burn marks on the back of my left hand. I was glad that I remembered this place so I wasn't stuck out in the storm.

"I wonder if it's day yet." I got up and walked over to the door and pushed the bookshelf away from it slightly. I looked out and saw that it was just about sunrise. I looked over at the crafting table and the stuff that I had laid on the ground next to it the night before.

"Oh, I guess that I forgot my things out here." I walked over and picked up my cloak and bag and set them back on the crafting table. I looked over at the entrance to the house and looked through it. I watched as raindrops fell from the sky and hit the ground.

"Looks like the storm lightened up enough so I could be protected from the rain if I just used my cloak," I said to myself as I turned to my things and grabbed my bag. I grabbed my memory book and wrote down what happened yesterday. (I'm too lazy to write that down plus you know what happened)

I closed the book and put it back in my bag. Then I turned around and walked to the other room in the house and picked up the other book I was reading and walked back into the main room and put it in my bag so I could read it later.

I slung my bag over my shoulder and then I grabbed my cloak and put that on too. I walked over to the doorway and looked outside. I lifted the hood of my cloak and put it on my head, then I pulled my arms under the rest of the cloak so my hands would be hidden from the rain.

I stepped outside and into the rain and stood there for a few seconds testing to see if any water would get through my cloak. Thankfully it didn't so I started walking in my chosen direction again while making sure to look at the ground so I didn't accidentally get any water on my face.

After a while of me walking the rain had stopped so I had taken off my hood. I looked up at the sky It was still cloudy but at least it wasn't raining anymore, that's always a good thing.

"I should probably check to see if I'm going the right way." I pulled out my memory book to double-check if the way I was going was correct, then I looked at the sun, which was still rising because it was still early in the day. I was heading straight for it, so I turned to the left and continued walking while I put my memory book back in my bag.
