As the night went on I could feel the air grow colder. After eating the meal that Philza and Wilbur had so graciously made, I was happy to retire to my tent. Just before the front of it closed Tommy called out to me.

"Oi, Ranboob, do you mind helping me and Tubbo keep watch tonight?"

"My name's Ranboo," I sighed before sticking my head outside and looking at the blonde before speaking again, "And no, I don't mind. Feel free to wake me whenever." I glanced back at Tubbo and smiled at him before disappearing back into the tent.

Collapsing into the warmth of my sleeping bag, I could already feel the claws of sleep begin to grab hold of me. The cold of the night air began to fade as my senses dulled. Soon I had fallen into a comforting sleep free from the stresses of the waking world.

A weight fell in front of me, causing the fogginess of sleep to fade slightly. A laugh came from whoever was laying beside me. I slowly opened my eye and couldn't but jump slightly when my gaze landed on Tubbo, whose face was mere inches away from mine.

"Boo," He whispered before giggling. A cocky grin was plastered across his face.

"What are you doing here?" I muttered as I began to wipe the sleep from my eye. But when I opened it again he was gone. "Tubbo?" I lazily called, my voice still heavy from sleep.

I heard footsteps outside, walking away from camp. I glanced back at where Tubbo had been laying before. It also just so happened to be the place that the bag my memory book was in had laid. As soon as I noticed it was gone the fogginess from my sleep completely disappeared and I began to scramble out of my sleeping bag.

"Tubbo!" I yelled. My voice was sure to wake anyone that was still asleep, but that wasn't my main concern right now. I tore out of my tent, ready to chase the goat hybrid down but paused when I heard the familiar crunch of snow. The forest was completely covered in a blanket of white. As I stood there I spared a quick glance around the campsite. It suddenly snowing while I was asleep wouldn't be too strange, but the fact that the snow was completely undisturbed was. Not even the snow on the rocks surrounding the campfire was out of place or melted.

A laugh sounded from deeper in the forest, causing my attention to snap towards it. I only caught a glimpse of Tubbo's silhouette before he vanished behind some trees. Without thinking I began to chase after him.

"Tubbo!" I called, although I wasn't sure if he heard me. I was just running alongside the footprints he had left in the snow. "We shouldn't be out here!" I continued. He just responded with more laughter.

I slipped past trees and bushes with relative ease. Normally I would have caught up with him by now, but he continued to evade me. I only caught the occasional glimpse of him before he disappeared behind another tree or bush.

"Tubbo please, you're starting to freak me out!" I yelled again. But it all came to a halt when we stumbled upon a moonlit clearing.

Tubbo was standing in the middle of it, just looking up at the night sky above. My bag was resting casually on the goat hybrid's right shoulder. I took a hesitant step into the open space. He looked back at me and smiled.

"It's about time you showed up," Tubbo shrugged off my bag and offered it to me with his left hand.

"I wasn't even that far behind you," I muttered as I  continued deeper into the clearing. The soft sounds of a piano began to replace the nighttime noise that once filled the air, but I didn't give it much attention.

"Sure," The brunette teased, cocking his head slightly as a smug grin fell onto his face. Soon, I was only a meter or so away from him. I reached to grab my bag away from the goat hybrid, but he dropped it before grabbing ahold of my hand and interlocking our fingers.
