As the days passed the two grew closer together and began to trust each other. Ranboo was still uncomfortable with how much Tubbo stared at them and the way he did so too, but they tried to not let it get to them and ruin the friendship they had made with him. Tubbo shared various stories from his life and Ranboo did the same, although they didn’t have as much to tell.

The next two days they spent together went just about the same as the first one; except they started talking to each other more as they spent more of their time together. As the third day started to roll around the sky started to fill with dark ominous clouds and the air started to feel different. Both Ranboo and Tubbo took note of this but weren’t sure if it was as much of a problem as they thought it was.

I looked up at the darkening sky; it was going to storm soon, that was pretty obvious but I was concerned as to when it would happen. I hope it won’t start until we either make it or are close to making it to the village. I know we’re close, it’s only a matter of time before we arrive; just a couple more hours at the most. I’m sure we can make it before sundown.

Tubbo cleared his throat to get my attention, “Ranboo do you think we should look for a place to take shelter. This wind is getting pretty bad and I don’t think we’d survive if we got stuck outside in a storm,” They paused, “We could also try and tough it out and make it to the village, but we might end up getting chased by mods if it gets dark.” I’m not sure we can make it before sundown.

“I don’t know,” I looked off into distant trees as I spoke, “The village can’t be too far but if the storm starts we’re screwed. It’s up to you I guess.”

“Yeah, that’s fair,” Tubbo hummed as they thought of a decision, “We should probably just tough it out and try to make it to the village,” I nodded. “But if we find a good place to take shelter we’ll stay there,” They added, sounding determined and sure of themselves.

“That sounds like a plan!” I declared in an enthusiastic yet tired voice.

We continued onward in the same direction. The wind slowly started getting worse, tugging at our hair and clothes more often and more aggressively as more time passed. We started quickening our pace without saying anything. I considered breaking into a sprint but decided that would make us too tired too quickly.

The storm eventually started. The stuff that it caused to fall out of the sky looked like hail but it didn't hurt when it hit you and once it hit the ground it looked like hail more than snow, but it just remained in small balls on the ground which was kind of interesting to look at seeing as I haven’t seen them before. I’m glad it isn’t snow because that stuff has the tendency to stick onto me and melt; this soft hail is much less painful.

A strong gust of wind hit me head-on, shoving soft hail, pine needles, and my hair into my face and eyes, making it difficult to see. I had to stop walking for a moment to try and keep my balance. It didn’t work too well seeing as I got pushed to the ground anyway. Once that particular bit of wind stopped I heard a bubbly laughter chime from behind me. I pulled my hair out of my eyes as I got up again.

“It’s not that funny,” I grinned and turned to face Tubbo.

“Really?” They laughed.

“Yes, you’re laughing at my pain,” I quipped.

“Oh no, I’m so sorry,” They teased, mocking me playfully, “Will you ever forgive me?”

“I don’t know,” I shrugged, “What’s in it for me?” My smile was obvious in my voice.

“I’ll give you…” Tubbo paused for a moment before gaining the courage to speak, “All of my love,” They said, voice full of shaky confidence, their cheeks turning a rosy pink.
