"Hey, Ranboo, You should probably take a break soon, you've been walking for a while now," Tubbo suggested sounding concerned.

"I'm fine, I'm not that tired yet," The enderman responded plainly, showing that they were paying far more attention to where they were walking than the conversation Tubbo was trying to start.

"Realy? We've been walking for like half the damn day, and you've been carrying me for just about half of that time," The goat hybrid stated sounding concerned and mildly annoyed.

"It's nothing I can't handle," The enderman spoke dryly as they continued walking.

"I don't care, you need to take a break, this isn't healthy," Tubbo whined.

"Yeah, I know, I'm just worried about what will happen to us if we stop," Ranboo admitted as they continued walking.

"Let's just find somewhere nice and take a break for like, twenty minutes," The goat hybrid plead, sounding exhausted despite not having moved much for the last few hours. After a few moments, Ranboo nodded causing a smile to stretch across Tubbo's face. "I'll walk the rest of the way there because you decided to cooperate," The goat hybrid sounded slightly smug as they slid off the enderman's back and landed on the snow-covered ground with a satisfying crunch. Ranboo rolled their eyes and continued walking. Tubbo quickened his pace and started walking in front of the enderman.

As the two walked the sound of crunching snow filled the forest. They glanced around, looking for a place to rest and admiring the landscape that had been covered in a fresh layer of white by the current snowfall. There were a few sweet berry bushes scattered around but the berries that once grew on their branches had long since been plucked off by various animals. Tubbo stopped for a moment and then quickly ran up ahead; Ranboo, who was now confused did the same. The goat hybrid suddenly stopped running and slid into a sitting position under a tight grouping of trees.

Ranboo soon joined him, sitting down more hesitantly and carefully than the goat hybrid. The two sat in an awkward yet comforting silence as they watched snow drift through the forest. It was the nice kind of snow to watch fall, it wasn't the shitty small flakes that you could barely see, they were large and fell slowly. Thanks to the low wind speeds not pushing it around much you could easily focus on one snowflake and watch it gracefully dance its way to the ground; it was a perfect day to just bask in the beauty of nature.

"Hey, Ranboo," The enderman hummed softly to acknowledge that Tubbo was talking, "Are you hungry? Because I sure as hell am."

"Yeah, kind of; the last time I ate was around this time yesterday." Ranboo shrugged.

"I haven't really eaten anything in the last three days, I don't think that's healthy," Tubbo trailed off. "I'm surprised I'm still alive at this point," he continued, voice shaking slightly and a single tear rolling down the right side of his face. He quickly wiped it away and laughed a fake, pained laugh to try and mask his fear. "I can't wait to bully the shit out of Tommy for this one." Tubbo preached with an air of false confidence. "Boy do I miss talking to him..."

"I could probably try to find something," Ranboo muttered as they glanced over at Tubbo, "It might be a little difficult because of the snow but it should be fine."

"That sounds like a pretty good idea, although the snow will probably help us find an animal we can kill," Tubbo elaborated sounding less upset than he did moments before as he slowly stood up.

"Oh, yeah, I guess that makes sense," The enderman agreed as the goat hybrid offered them a hand. They took it and were quickly pulled up by a surprisingly strong Tubbo. The two made eye contact for a short time allowing a blush to creep onto the goat hybrid's face before he quickly looked away.

"Let's get going, we don't have all day," Tubbo announced as he crunched through the snow feeling flustered. Ranboo followed after him, their footsteps barely noticeable compared to the goat hybrid's.

As the two walked they kept a careful eye out for any signs of wildlife. Shortly after they had started walking Tubbo pulled out a large hunting knife that had been previously hung off of his belt and concealed by his outermost jacket.

"Do you have any weapons you can use?" Tubbo whispered, trying to avoid scaring off any unseen animals.

Ranboo shook their head, "I've never had any reason to kill something so I never tried to get my hands on one." The goat hybrid nodded and continued walking. After a few more minutes Tubbo suddenly stopped and tugged on Ranboo's sweater, getting their attention. He pointed Ranboo's gaze towards a patch of snow in the distance to their right; it had recently been disturbed by an animal. The two quickly, yet quietly made their way over to the tracks. Tubbo knelt down to get a better look at hooved footprints.

"These might be from a deer, or a pig maybe," Tubbo stated as he stood back up and followed the tracks with his eyes further into the distance, "We should probably hurry, the snow will cover these if we stand here too long." Ranboo nodded but Tubbo didn't see it as he had already started following the tracks to the animal that made them.
