×~ Bandages and Bored Games ~×

I gently removed my bandages, careful not to reopen any of my wounds. I didn't bother with the arrow wound, it hurt too much. My other injuries seemed to be healed for the most part. They're still raw and sting quite a bit, but as long as I'm not too rough with them, they should be fine.

I grabbed the discarded bandages and got off the bed. I didn't put much pressure on my left knee because it still felt sprained but it did hurt much less than before. I started walking over to the door but stopped short at the full-length mirror standing beside it. I caught a glimpse of my right eye, or at least what remains of it.

I shifted the bandages to one hand and brushed my hair off my face. It was jarring seeing the fresh scars that climbed up the right side of my face. The harsh deep claw marks were much more vibrant compared to the dull burns that fell to my chin. Although the hollow eye socket accompanying the fresh scars was the worst addition.

I let my hair fall back over the right side of my face. It doesn't feel right that I'm missing an eye, but there's not much I can do about it now. At least it was for the greater good. Who knows what would've happened to Tubbo if I didn't distract those mobs? I'm not happy about my injury, but I'm glad Tubbo didn't get hurt more.

I made sure my socket was as hidden as it could be and finally left the room. I glanced over at Tommy, Techno, and Tubbo who were in the living room as I made my way to the kitchen. I dumped my old bandages in the trash and started making my way back to the room.

"Hey, Ranboo!" Techno called out to me just as I was about to pass the living room, "Do you need any more bandages?"

I glanced over at the piglin. "Yeah, that'd be nice," I muttered with a smile and a slight nod. Now that I think about it, covering up my eye again would be nice. They got up and grabbed some things from the floor next to them. When they got over to me they looked like they were going to hand me the bandages and bandaids they were holding but stopped when they looked at my face.

"Do you need help cleaning off the blood around your wounds?" Techno asked.

"No thank you, I'm fine," I said.

"You sure?" They tilted their head slightly when they spoke.

"Yup," I nodded, "I don't want to be a bother."

"It doesn't bother me to help you," Techno laughed, "I care about you. So do you want help or not."

I paused for a moment before slowly nodding, "Yeah, I do. Thank you." I smiled.

Technoblade smiled back, "You go on ahead, I'll be right there," They promised as they handed me the bandages.

I walked back to the bedroom and waited. In only a few moments Techno was back and was holding two hand towels. Once they got closer I could tell that one of them was just ever so slightly damp and I felt a pang of worry begin to crawl up my chest.

"Why do you have that?" I questioned as I gestured toward the damp towel.

"It'd be difficult to clean a wound with just a dry towel," They shrugged before sitting down on the bed in front of me.

"I think that might make the wound worse," I warned, "Water isn't really known for being good for endermen."

"That's why I brought the dry towel," Techno said, "Plus, it's mostly soap."

I sighed, "If it burns me I'm going to be upset."

"I won't let it burn you," They promised. An assuring smile spread across their face.
