Tommy's eyes flickered open and immediately squeezed shut again when they were greeted by the sunlight that poured into the small camp. He clutched his stomach and groaned.

"Morning Toms," Wilbur greeted in a low hum.

Tommy looked up at him from where he lay in his arms. "Morning."

"You doing alright Tommy?" Tubbo asked, leaning closer to the blonde child.

Tommy nodded, "Just need a moment for my stomach to settle." He paused and glanced around the camp, his brows furrowing slightly. "Did we sleep out here?"

"Yeah," Wilbur laughed.

"That was dumb," He laughed in response.

The trio's smiles only faltered when one of the tents behind them began to rustle. Philza popped out from the green fabric, and a grimace quickly stretched across his face.

"Why isn't Techno out here?" He asked. "Did all three of you fall asleep?" Tommy and Tubbo quickly looked away from the old man.

"Yeah," Wilbur sighed, "Sorry Dad, I was holding Tommy, I didn't want to disturb him."

"Tommy was leaning on me," Tubbo added.

"Don't use Tommy as an excuse," Philza groaned. As soon as he had finished talking the tent next to him began to stir.

Phil let out a tired sigh as he finally left his tent. Techno joined him moments later, still rubbing the sleep from his eyes. Philza started grabbing things like a pot and oatmeal in preparation for breakfast, while Techno made his way over to Ranboo's tent.

"Hey, Ranboo. Are you doing alright," He called with an uneasy softness to his voice. Silence fell over the camp for a moment. His brow furrowed slightly. "Ranboo, I'm opening your tent. Tell me if you want to keep it closed." He hesitated for a moment before unzipping the entrance. "What the?" He whispered before leaning forward and reaching for something inside the cramped space. He held a piece of paper in his hands and quickly began to read. His face slowly twisted into a grimace.

"What does it say?" Wilbur called, "Where's Ranboo?"

Techno slowly turned to look back at him. "They're gone."

Tubbo shot up from where he sat, causing Tommy to fall slightly. "What do you mean they're gone?" He continued over to Technoblade and began glancing over the note in his hands.

"They felt like they were putting everyone here in danger." Techno paused and looked back at the tent, "So they left." He stood up and began walking toward the forest. "I'm going after them."

Philza quickly stood up and ran over to the piglin, "Like hell you are," He grabbed his arm and began dragging him back over to the fire. "None of us are going anywhere until we have breakfast."

"I'll eat later," Techno promised as he tugged against the old man's grip.

Phil looked at him, then rolled his eyes. "Sure," He sighed and sat Technoblade down. "Listen, mate, it was Ranboo's choice to leave." He continued working on breakfast, "They have supplies, and they're competent enough to survive on their own until we find them again."

"I know Phil," Techno groaned. "But that doesn't change the fact that people have been following them for gods knows how long." He stood back up.

"If Ranboo's on their own they'll be able to get away from anyone that might bother them," Tommy but in.

"But-" Techno was cut off

"We can look for them after we eat," Tubbo offered just as Techno was going to start trying to leave again. "They're pretty fast and we'll need all the energy we can get."

Techno's brows furrowed as he looked down at the goat hybrid. He let out a long sigh and sat down. "Fine."

Tommy and Tubbo engaged in a muttering conversation, Philza cooked, and Techno's foot tapped incessantly against the ground. The old man attempted to strike up a conversation with the piglin. Technoblade only gave his friend a huff of acknowledgement before continuing to stare off into the forest.

"Any clue as to where they're going?" Wilbur spoke up.

"North," Techno responded plainly. "It's the only direction they ever go when they're on their own." The brunette nodded before staring at the campfire for a moment.

"Tommy, can you get off, I'm going to start packing up," Will said and Tommy did as he was told.

"We should probably start on that too," Tubbo spoke as he looked over to Techno.

The piglin gave the goat hybrid a simple nod before bringing his attention to Tommy. "Are you going to join us?"

The child raised a bandaged hand before speaking, "This bitch was dislocated, remember?"

"Right," Technoblade sighed, "I'll get your stuff for you."

The three of them were quick to deconstruct the camp. The only thing that brought them any trouble was Ranboo's tent. Although, Techno was eventually able to shove it into his backpack alongside all of his other belongings.

Not too long after all the camping gear was put up Philza finished making breakfast. Everyone ate faster than normal, but Technoblade was practically inhaling his poor food. He was the first one done and the first one to get up.

"I'm gonna go grab some water," Techno said as he grabbed a bucket and started making his way out of camp. He didn't hear Philza's response as he started sprinting toward where he knew a river would be. He quickly collected the water and started making his way back. In only a few moments the fire was out and its ashes were mixed with the dirt around it.

- Tommy's POV -

I watched as Techno put out the fire and began frantically pacing around the camp. He probably had a reason in his head to be doing that, but in all honesty, he looked like a worried parent who lost their kid at the park.

"C'mon Tom," Tubbo offered me a hand. I took it and was dragged to my feet. And after standing there for no less than a second The Blade shoved my bag into my arms, sending a dull shooting pain up my injured hand. I glared at him before shrugging it on. I looked back over at Tubbo, who smiled at me through a knit eyebrow and a frown. I took a step forward and wrapped my arms around the goat hybrid.

"We're going to find them Tubbo," I huffed, "Their dumbass can't run from us for long." Tubbo snorted when I said this and pulled away from the hug.

"C'mon, let's go," Tubbo said with a hint of melancholy to his voice despite the smile on his face.

The goat hybrid grabbed my uninjured hand and began dragging me away from camp while the others followed close behind.

1120 Words: We're just going to pretend that I didn't stop posting for several months. We're also going to pretend that I didn't cut this chapter in half so I could finally post again.

In all seriousness, I'm so sorry it took me this long to write this chapter. I had a serious lack of motivation :(
