Ranboo continued to sob into Technoblade's arms as he ran. More blood than tears rolled down their face at this point. The Blood God expertly dodged mobs as he ran back to the camp that he had set up. He was on the verge of tears, blaming himself for what had happened, and scolding himself for not getting there sooner. If only he had been a little faster, if only he found Ranboo a little sooner, if only Ranboo held on for just a few seconds longer.

The voices hollered and wailed, demanding blood to be shed as vengeance for the enderman they had grown so fond of. Techno had no urge to listen to their words or follow their advice, his only priority was making sure Ranboo was okay. He kept a stone-cold face, refusing to let his tears fall.

Back at camp things were going much smoother. Philza and Wilbur helped Tubbo bandage the minor scratches and scrapes that he had acquired, got him to warm up by the campfire, and gave him one of the few potions of healing they had with them to help him with his broken ribs.

The air was laced with tension as Tommy silently gloated about being correct, Tubbo worried about Ranboo, and Philza and Wilbur were embarrassed about not believing in the goat hybrid. But despite all of that they were happy to be with each other again.

I laid by the campfire bored. I had tuned out Will's and Tommy's whines as they fussed over me, trying to make sure I was okay. Other than the hypothermia and the broken ribs I'm fine, I'm not in danger right now. My injuries will heal, I just need rest but they're not letting me get any.

I was about to tell them to shut up again but I was interrupted by Techno finally coming back. I was going to say something but then I noticed the loud, shaky sobs. I quickly sat up, ignoring the stabbing pain in my chest so I could see what was going on.

I felt my eyes widen as I saw Techno sit down next to the campfire, across from me with Ranboo crying in his arms. There were purple bloodstains on his shirt caused by Ranboo's cries. I felt my heart melt at the sight. Pain filled my chest, it was deep and hollow, and completely different from the physical pain I felt from my injuries. I wanted to go over there and comfort them but I was too shocked to move.

"Phil, how many health potions do we have?" Techno grunted, sounding unsympathetic towards the enderman's condition.

"We have three," Philza stated before just staring at Ranboo with suspicion.

"Well don't just stand there, get them and help me with him!" He demanded as he gestured towards Ranboo with an aggressive tone I'd never heard him use on Phil before. He looked just as shocked as I was but he just quickly nodded as he grabbed the potions from his bag as well as some other medical supplies.

"Hey mate," Phil greeted Ranboo in a calm and soothing tone but was completely ignored, "Do you want to come over here so I can treat your wounds?" There was still no response.

"Phil, do you have a splash potion?" Techno asked, still sounding agitated.

"Uh, yeah, just one," Phil hesitated as he grabbed the potion to show Techno. Without hesitation, the piglin snatched it out of his hands and popped off its cork.

"Ran, can you tilt your head upwards so I can use this?" Techno stated, sounding much more sympathetic than he did before. Ranboo still didn't respond but after Technoblade nudged him a little bit he stopped burying his face in his chest and looked up at him. Philza's eyes Immediately widened in shock and his jaw dropped when he saw Ranboo's face. I don't think he expected him to not be violent when someone made eye contact with him. "This is going to sting," The piglin warned. And with that Technoblade brought the potion to Ranboo's right eye and poured.
