As the snow began to gently drift down throughout the forest I started to feel myself begin to worry. We can't stay here much longer, we'll eventually freeze. I started thinking of what we should do when I remembered the village and the map that Technoblade gave me. I quickly reached into my bag and carefully pulled out the map that sat inside. When I pulled it out it seemed to catch the goat hybrid's attention.

"Where'd you get that map from?" The stranger asked as they reached towards the paper and touched it, "It looks familiar."

I pulled the map away from the goat hybrid's touch. "A friend of mine named Techno lent it to me. I'm going to meet back up with them at the village and continue travelling with them." The goat hybrid's mood seemed to brighten when I said this.

"When you said Techno, do you mean Techno as in Technoblade?" The brunette excitedly inquired.

"Um, yeah, I think that's their name," I confirmed in a mildly confused manner.

"Oh my god, I know him!" The stranger yelled, excitement filling their voice, "I travelled with him until our group got separated. Once everyone makes it to the village we're probably going to continue travelling together."

"Wait, really?" I said sounding surprised and slightly concerned.

"Yup!" The goat hybrid stated happily,  "I'm glad that you'll be joining us." The brunette paused for a moment, "Oh, wait, did I ever tell you my name?"

"No, I don't think so," I shook my head slightly as I said this.

"Well, in that case, my name's Tubbo," The brunette stated proudly.

"That name sounds familiar," I shrugged, "Techno probably told me a little bit about you already."

"Wait, really, what did he tell you?"

"Um," I thought for a moment, trying to remember, "I don't really remember too well, I think it was something about you liking bees."

"Yup!" Tubbo exclaimed happily, "That's definitely me."

"Well, that's good I suppose," I responded sounding less excited than Tubbo, "Do you, do you think you could help me figure out where we need to go, this snow is starting to get really concerning." I looked up at the sky and was struck by the beauty of the snowfall but also grew more concerned for my safety. The goat hybrid soon joined me in looking up at the snow.

"Whoah, that sure is pretty," Tubbo spoke with a much softer voice than they did before. I couldn't disagree with them, the way the soft-looking flakes slowly floated past the surrounding trees was striking; if I wasn't stranded in the middle of nowhere I would happily watch it for hours. I looked back down at the map I was holding and unfolded it.

"We should probably hurry, we need to get to the village as soon as possible," The brunette looked down at the map as I spoke.

"Yeah we should, I don't want to spend any more time out here without proper supplies than I need to," Tubbo turned his head to get a better look at the map. "I'm not that good at reading maps so I don't know how much help I'll be."

"I don't think I'm going to be much better," I stated plainly. The goat hybrid sighed before gently taking the map out of my hands.

"Fantastic," Tubbo said sounding incredibly sarcastic and annoyed. "I think I know enough to find the village and you can probably help me quite a bit so hopefully we're not completely fucked.

"Yeah, hopefully," I agreed softly. The two of us studied the map as we tried to figure out where we were. I was able to help with that a little bit thanks to me vaguely remembering where Techno said we were last. Tubbo was the one who decided which direction would be the best to travel in based on where we think we are. I don't really know exactly the way we're going because they didn't say but I hope it won't take us too long to get there.

"Welp," Tubbo stood up and stretched a little before they continued talking, "I think it's just about time we go." They handed me the map and I folded it up before placing it back in my bag. I stood up and handed my cloak over to Tubbo they took it, placed it on their shoulders and fastened it so it wouldn't fall off, although it touched the ground because of our height difference.

"Thanks, Ranboo," Tubbo spoke kindly as they looked up at me; I quickly diverted my eyes so we wouldn't make eye contact.

"Anytime Tubbo," The brunette turned around and started walking, I quickly followed after them. Tubbo noticed that I was still walking behind them so they slowed down so we were now walking side by side. Neither of us talked to each other I didn't know what to say and I don't think Tubbo did either. I kept my eyes forward on the terrain in front of me and for the most part, Tubbo did too, but I couldn't help but feel like they were staring at me sometimes, more than they should be.

It's uncomfortable. Maybe I should say something, ask them to stop or something like that. They're probably warry of me and don't feel safe unless they keep an eye on me. Maybe I should just leave and stop heading towards the village so they can't stare at me anymore. How do I even know they're staring at me, I haven't seen them do it; it could just be my mind playing tricks on me. I should probably make sure they are before I jump to conclusions.

At the moment it doesn't feel like Tubbo is looking at me, and a quick glance over to them proved this to be correct, but I'm sure they'll start looking at me again soon, I'll just need to wait. After a few minutes, I felt that familiar feeling of being stared at again and I quickly looked over at the brunette. We locked eyes only for a second before they quickly looked forward at the trees in front of them again. A deep red dusted across the goat hybrid's face as they looked away. After staring at Tubbo for a bit longer I looked forward again. I thought about leaving but I knew if I did I wouldn't last long, I need to make it to the village so I can be with Techno again, they'll make sure I don't get myself killed. I just gotta hope that Tubbo will learn to trust me and stop staring at me all the time.

Tubbo and I continued walking, one of us occasionally said something and the other would respond but we never got into a proper conversation and after I caught Tubbo staring at me it seemed like they were doing it a lot less so that's good. A few hours into us walking Tubbo complained about being tired and managed to convince me to carry them until we take a break or stop walking all together. It's kind of annoying but I don't mind it because they're still mildly hypothermic and need to rest.
