- Ranboo's POV -

I continued reading at a slower pace than I would like. But the book was interesting, so I wasn't too upset about it.

"Ranboo, do you know how to open your inventory?" I looked up at Technoblade and shook my head in response to the question.

"I don't think so." They nodded after I finished speaking.

"I guess we'll start there then." They grabbed the map off the ground, folded it up, and put it back inside their bag.

"What?"

"Knowing how to open your inventory is very convenient. So I'm going to teach you how to do that."

"Okay, I guess that makes sense." They stood up and offered me their hand. I closed the book I was reading and set it aside. I took their hand, and they pulled me up off the ground.

"Damn, you're tall."

"Thanks? I guess."

"Do you know how tall you are?"

"No, I don't think so." The stranger looked up at me, I looked away slightly as they examined me.

"Well I can say this much, you're definitely over 7 feet tall. Maybe even 8 feet, but just barely if that's the case."

"Okay."

"Well, I guess we start now." Technoblade paused, thinking of what to do or say no to next.

"I have no idea what I'm doing." They spoke in a half-whisper to themselves while saying this. This is going to be interesting.

It had been a few hours since Techno had decided to start teaching me how to open my inventory, and I honestly think that they're having more trouble with this than I am. I had opened my inventory a couple of times, it was enough for Technoblade to trust me to put one of their items in it. But for whatever reason, they decided that their axe was perfect for the job.

Long story short I couldn't open my inventory again so Technoblade has temporarily lost its axe. I'm going to try and give it back to them as soon as I can. Hopefully, I don't just forget everything they taught me today.

But the strangest thing about this whole situation has got to be Technoblade's reaction. Once it hit them that they lost their axe they sat down in a corner and started mumbling things to themselves. I think it was something about Tommy and the Axe of Peace.

The name Tommy sounded familiar, but I don't know about the Axe of Peace. Whatever it was it seemed to mean a lot to Techno. I guessed that they probably weren't in the mood to continue the lessons so I grabbed my memory book and sat back down where I was reading before. I opened it to an empty page and started writing down the things that had happened earlier today.

I finished writing not long after I started. I guess I got faster or starting writing with less detail. I didn't know what else to do so I grabbed the book I was reading before and opened it to the first page. I didn't see the point in finding the place where I left off, I have already forgotten most of the things that had happened. Although I did feel a sense of familiarity during some parts of the book.

- Techno's POV -

I can't believe I lost another axe. You would think I'd learn from my mistakes, but I guess not. Why do I keep trusting children with them? It has never gone well, and it probably never will.

Wait am I saying all this out loud?

I stopped talking once I realized what I was doing. I looked up and started looking around the cave for Ranboo. I wonder if he noticed that I was talking to myself. I spotted him sitting in the same spot he was before. If he did hear me talking to myself he isn't showing any signs of it.
