Hours passed as Philza and Wilbur continued walking. They occasionally made small talk but mainly remained in an anxiety-filled silence thanks to the darkening sky. They both scanned the surrounding area for anyplace that they thought would be suitable to stay and occasionally made suggestions, some better than others. Although they were mostly bad, and mostly made by Wilbur as shitty jokes.

"Hey, Phil look," the brunette said as he pointed toward something in the sky.

"Will if it's another bird or spider's nest you want to suggest staying in I'm going to drop Tommy and slap you," The shitty Mothman dead-panned as he glared over at his son who just glared right back.

"It's not another bird's nest," He said as he quickly smacked Philza on the back of the head, "Just look," he sighed as he pointed at where he was looking. The blonde rolled his eyes as he finally turned to look at what Wilbur was talking about. His eyes widened as soon as he noticed the smoke that was rolling up from what was probably a campfire.

"Oh," was all Phil could say.

"I told you it wasn't a stupid bird's nest," Will remarked as he and his father stopped walking.

"Sorry mate," Philza glanced back down at Wilbur before looking back up at the smoke through the tree branches that stretched above them.

"You're fine," The brunette said as he subconsciously popped his knuckles, "Do you think we should head towards it?" Willbur looked over at Phil

"Do you want to?" Philza asked as he looked over at Will again, locking eyes with him this time.

"Eh," The brunette shrugged.

The avian nodded, "Right then, let's go." Phil started walking towards the smoke followed shortly after by Wilbur.

They quickly approached the camp, at a pace that wasn't quite sprinting but wasn't quite walking either. The closer they got the more they noticed what looked like a really tall hill. It was by no means a mountain but calling it a hill feels a little disrespectful.

Once they were closer to the hill the trees thinned a bit and they saw a decently tall cliff that tapered forward and cut off into a much steeper incline after about four meters. It lurched forward enough to provide decent cover for whatever was beneath it. They also finally saw the campfire and the rough silhouette of a man who was sitting next to it. Thanks to the trees and fire between them, Phil and Willbur were unable to see much detail of the man and barely even noticed him in the first place. But the man seemed to know that the two were heading his way before he could even see them.

As the two continued walking the man eventually stood up, taking his time to do so. He soon started lumbering his way over to them with a slight limp. Phil and Wilbur came to a stop as soon as they noticed the man's very tall and very muscular build. They were unsure whether or not they should be concerned for their safety.

The man soon drew closer, his imposing silhouette growing more intimidating and his features becoming more clear. He had long dark and dull pink hair that messily cascaded down his back in knotted waves, a netherite crown with striking red gemstones set inside, and bright red eyes that longed for blood and violence. Upon seeing the boar-like face of his old friend Philza let out a sigh of relief.

"You scared me for a moment there Techno," The avian said with a laugh as he started walking towards the camp again.

"Bruh," Technoblade let out as he turned around and started walking back the way he came, "You should've said something so I didn't have to get up and walk over here." As Phil and Techno walked Wilbur couldn't help but notice that Technoblade was limping.
