I couldn’t help but feel concerned as I watched Techno leave the camp. There’s probably no one out there, and even if there was, they’d be stupid to try and attack him. Maybe I’m just worried about my own safety.

I was shaken from my thoughts when I heard a pair of light footsteps approaching me.

“Hey mate,” Philza greeted just as I looked over at him. “Do you want help figuring out how to set up your tent, or do you think you can manage it yourself?”

“Some help would be nice,” I nodded.

“If you’re worried about Techno, he’ll be fine.” Phil turned to where I had set down my bag, “Plus, we’re the only people out here for a while. He won’t find anyone.” The avian started walking towards where Wilbur had begun to set up a makeshift fire pit.

“I know,” I muttered as I started to follow him.

He worked patiently to help me figure out the mess of metal rods and fabric. It was surprisingly easy. I probably could’ve figured it out on my own, but with the avian’s instructions, it was up in nearly 15 minutes.

"Well, now that that's done we can finally relax," Philza yawned as he stretched out his wings. He would have accidentally slapped me with them if I didn't step out of the way.

"We still need firewood," Wilbur chimed in from his place next to the empty fire pit.

Tommy suddenly stood up. "I'll go!" He yelled, causing me to jump. The blonde started to walk toward Phil while I went over to the empty fire pit and sat down.

"No Tom. I promised Techno that I wouldn't let anyone go off on their own," Philza sighed as he found his way over to a comfortable-looking tree and sat down, leaning his back against its trunk. I pulled out my memory book and thought about what I should write down for today.

"Please, Techno doesn't have to know," Tommy whined, "Plus, Ranboo's coming with me." I perked up at my name being mentioned. I don’t remember promising Tommy I’d do anything like that. Maybe I forgot.

Phil sighed, "If you can get them to go with you, I'll let you go."

"I'll go with you, Tommy!" Tubbo suddenly offered. A contagiously warm smile was spread across his face.

"No Tubzo, I need to have a private conversation with the boobster," Tommy said. Tubbo let out a snort at my new nickname while I internally cringed.

"Okay then, see ya later I guess," The goat hybrid said with a shrug, sounding mildly disappointed, “Just don’t say anything stupid,” He glared at the blonde as he spoke.

“Yeah, yeah, I won’t. I promise,” Tommy assured.

“Good,” Tubbo sighed with a smile.

“Come on Ranboob,” The blonde sprinted over to me and firmly grabbed the hood of my cloak.

“Hey, wait, I never agreed to this!” I shouted as he began dragging me into the woods.

“This is stupid,” I grumbled as I brushed off the dirt stuck to my clothes.

“Oh, stop whining. We’ll be gone for like 20 minutes, tops,” Tommy scoffed.

“Can we at least stay near camp?” I asked. I could feel the lingering sense of fear return from before we started setting up camp.

“No! Where’s the fun in that?” Tommy asked as he hopped onto a nearby log and began walking across it. “Don’t you want adventure?” I could feel him staring at me.
