"Yeah, but is a leather jacket really appropriate for a picnic date?"
"Fine, but I threw out all my old clothes."
"I have the perfect dress for you!"
I took her hand and brought her upstairs to my room.
"Sit on the bed, I'll go get it."
I walked to my closet and searched for the dress I had bought the previous week for this occasion. Finally I found it, I walked back to Erica and handed her the dress.

"I thought it would be cute since my dress is pink! Go on try it on!"
"Fine let's just hurry up."
She grabbed the dress and changed into it. When she finished she patted it down and looked in the mirror.
"Hm not bad. Let's go now."
"Okay!"
I took the picnic basket and she grabbed the blanket. We got to the lake and set up the blanket and food.
"Look there's a swan!"
"I could use a snack."
"Erica! That's why I got this food!"
"Human food makes vampires gassy. Do you want to poison me!?"
"Please just this once!"
"Urgh- okay, fine! Hand me a bowl of those fruits."
I handed her a fruit bowl and started to eat some crackers.
"Can you put some music on?"
"Sure what do you want me to put?"
"Anything is fine."
She grabbed her phone and shuffle played her playlist. We fell in love in October by girl in red started playing. Erica looked at me and we both started laughing.
