Into The Unknown

(POV: Barry goes into the speed force to save Wally but takes his place and Jay doesn't rescue him because he can't take his place. So Jay and Wally are thrown out of the speed force and Barry is trapped. Cisco is pissed and willing to do anything to get his husband back. but team flash have to call the other teams to come help but soon realize Cisco and Barry are together when Cisco has an outburst of rage. Caitlin was the only one to know about it. AN: I'm so sorry about the song choice but I couldn't not put it up there with the title I chose. The title was supposed to be like how the team is willing to go into the unknown to find Barry. But then I remembered this song. I was laughing my ass off when it clicked about the song.)

Cisco's POV

I go to start to pull the three speedsters out but all of a sudden the speed force opens and spits Jay and Wally out. "Wally! Jay!" Everyone calls out. Everyone is smiling and happy but I walk over and push Jay. "I called you to bring them both back. To bring Barry back at least if you couldn't get Wally. But you clearly got Wally so where is he. Where the fuck is Barry." I demand. Jay sighs. "Where the fuck is he!" I yell again. "Barry sacrificed himself to save us. According to the speed force he is living his own hell over and over again. I tried to take his place but the speed force turned demonic and spit us out." Jay says. I notice Caitlin is over at the computer. "I can't track jay's helmet. It's no use." She says. "We have to get him back." Wally says. "And what Wallace, get yourself killed. Barry barely was breathing the last time we got a vital check on him. You aren't going to survive 5 seconds in there alone!" I yell. "Cisco!" Caitlin yells shocked. Wally glares at me. "Would everyone stop comparing me to Barry! You act like he is better! Clearly not!" He snaps. I chuckle. "You want to know what Wally! Barry is better! He is ten times better! And you want to know one thing that makes him better! Because he doesn't have this snarky attitude towards everyone! So I am sorry but I do think Barry is better! Before you even make a comment on why I do let's think! Who was brave enough to still go after Thawne after he nearly killed us all! Who was brave enough to fight meta human after meta human just learning how to control his speed and knowing full well he may get himself killed! Who faced a speedster 10 times faster then him for a whole year and fought all of the psycho meta humans the speedster sent to kill him! Who survived breaking his back and almost being killed by Zoom! Who didn't give two shits about what people thought about him and went out there and saved peoples lives despite what say to him! Who is the one who outsmarted Zoom at his own damn game by playing him with his own damn tricks, and still held back the urge to kill him even though he had just killed Henry in front of him! Who is now facing hell from everyone about Flashpoint while he is trying his damnedest to make things right! Who is the one who still gets out of bed every day and puts on a fake smile!! WHO IS THE ONE WHO HARDLY SLEEPS AT NIGHT BECAUSE OF NIGHTMARES AND STILL PUTS ON A BRAVE FACE EVERYDAY!! WHO IS THE ONE WHO FAKES A SMILE AND EVERYONE BELIEVES IT! SO YEAH WALLACE! I DO BELIEVE BARRY IS BETTER THEN YOU AND FOR SOME DAMN GOOD REASONS! YOU KNOW WHAT!! YOU ARE THE REASON BARRY IS GONE! IF YOU HAD NEVER WENT ON A SUICIDE MISSION NONE OF THIS WOULD HAVE NEVER HAPPENED!!" I yell. "Francisco Paco Ramon!!" Caitlin yells even more shocked. I look at her. "No Caitlin! He needed an attitude check and I wasn't afraid to give him one!" I yell. I walk away and into my lab. I sigh as tears start to flow. God how could I have been so stupid. I knew by the look in his eyes when he kissed me in my lab before we went to the breach room that he was going to do something. I should have stopped him. But I didn't. If we don't get Barry back this is on me. If he dies it is my fault. My ring is still on the table where I laid it last night when my chain broke. I slip it back on. I had always said that before we can have an actual wedding he needs to propose. Last night he took me out for dinner since we had the night off until Wally got pulled into the speed force. I smile fondly. But that smile fades when my phone rings. It's Oliver. I pick it up. "Hey Oliver." I say. "Cisco I have tried calling all of you guys and Barry normally answers but hasn't and nobody else has. What's going on." Oliver says. I sigh. "Now is not the time Oliver." I say. "Cisco your crying what's wrong." Felicity asks. "Nothing Lis. Everything's great. We were just really busy. Hey I gotta go. Caitlin needs me." I say hanging up. I go to the cortex where everyone is. Everyone looks at me. I start typing into the computer. "The fuck are you all doing just standing around. Caitlin go start checking over Barry's last known vitals and speed force traces to see if you can find his signature trace. Wally and Jesse go run around the city and see if you spot any sign of speed force, or any sign or trace of Barry. Jay I need you over here with me to help see if we can figure out any reason as to why the speed force demands Barry to be the prisoner. Joe go down to the precinct and tell David that there is a code red and tell him it came from me. He will know what to do. He knows it is an emergency for the flash. Don't act surprised. Barry told his boss before Eddie found out. Eddie I need you to go with Joe and make sure things at the precinct are covered. Keep an eye on the calls of spotting's of the Flash. Julian I need you to go with them and cover for Barry in the lab that way nobody else gets suspicious. Iris I need you to pull some strings and get ahold of a man named Wesley Montgomery. If you need to tell him it is dire emergency and to hand over the private files of Sebastian Smythe. Get him down here as well. He may be able to assist me and Jay in trying to figure out why the speed force demands Barry be the prisoner. HR do me a favor and go to Barry's lab and grab the black leather notebook in the second drawer down. It may be locked and if so the desk keys are hung on the hook on the bottom of the desk and it is the red key. I never thought I would say this but grab his lanyard as well. it is the nightmare before Christmas one." I order. Everyone just stands there. "Now! Oliver and Felicity are worried and I have a feeling they will be showing up late tonight with the rest of team arrow or maybe in the morning, they have probably already called team supergirl and the legends! We need to get going!" I yell chuckling. They all burst into action. HR looks at me. "What if his door is locked." HR asks. "Good point. Here is my lanyard. The black key is the spare key to his lab." I say. I start typing on the computer trying to find the old key thing. Ha ha! "Ok this will de-jumble the jumbled mess Barry calls a time language that he writes in in his diary." I say. HR runs in with the lanyard and I thank him. He goes off somewhere. I open the diary and scan the computer on it. "He writes everything down doesn't he." Jay asks smiling. I see a page that peeks both of our interests. 'Dear diary, so after doing intensive research and testing on myself I figured out why I always felt connected to the speed force. Like I was being drawn to it and like I had a duty to it. I don't know. It's strange. But I figured out I am the living cell of the speed force. I know it seems crazy. But is that as crazy as the speed force showing up in my living room taking form of aunt Nora and talking to me and explaining it to me. Yeah. Well let's just say I offered the speed force coffee and set in my living room having a 4 hour conversation. It cheered me up a little but because Cisco hadn't been here to help me and talking to aunt Nora even if it really isn't her helped me. I guess it was like a therapy session with the thing that was the reason I need therapy I guess. She is part Nora though. Which she is Nora. When Nora died and since she had the speed force in her she became the living cell of the speed force until I came of age. I had speed force in me since I was born. I have been the living cell since I was 18 since I had came of age. She promised me she didn't blame me for her death and that it wasn't my fault and neither was Henry's. I miss Cisco but he blames me for Dante. Which was my fault as well. But I gotta go. They need me at the labs.' and as I read that I take a deep breath. I write down that he was the living cell of the speed force. "So are you two..." Jay asks and Caitlin pops her head out of the door. "Dating? Why yes they are." She says going back into the lab. I chuckle and shake my head. "I knew there was something between you two." Jay says. We continue to go through the pages and find out that Barry was planning on ending it all in 2 weeks, that he can track any speedster at any time, that he is the fastest speedster alive but just can't channel that speed yet, and that he has a stuffed dog named Chester. "Ok that explains some. But not all..." I say. Iris walks back in and has Wes who is carrying a box of files. "Here is everything I have on him" He says. "I just had to say he was in danger and he ran and ordered for the files to be brought out." Iris says. "Cisco we ain't got nothing! Joe called and said he was on his way back to the lab with Eddie and Julian told everyone Barry went on a well needed vacation and told everyone he was taking the next 2 days off. They are on their way back and me and Jess are coming back. She called Harry and he is coming from Earth 2." Wally says. "K. We found some stuff and when you guys get back we will go over everything. See what everyone got." I say. All of a sudden everyone walks in including the other teams. Great. "Your earlier then I assumed. Ok everyone time to go over everything. Oh HR you made tons of coffee. Thank you." I say taking a the cup he reach me from the cart he brought up here. Caitlin comes back in as I am going through some of the files and fills everyone in. I jot more stuff down from some of the files. I slam my hands onto the desk when I get frustrated not being able to piece anything together. "Dammit!" I yell. Everyone flinched. "Your hand...ring...are you and him...." Kara asks. "Yes we are married dammit! We were drunkenly married about 2 weeks ago!" I yell. "Cisco calm down." Caitlin says placing a hand on my back. "Kid your holding back something important. What is it." Jay asks. "Ramon I got your message last night. Tell them." Harry says. "Caitlin I can't calm down when this is all my fault. Last night he had said he was sorry about something and I ignored it and passed it off as he was jittery. Then when Savitar stabbed him he kept looking at me after everyone left last night and kept grabbing my hand an apologizing over and over again. I didn't think of it. Today in my lab he came into my lab and kept apologizing. He had this look in his eyes the whole time that he was up to something. He knew what he was doing and he was at peace with the decision. Notice how this morning he said goodbye to us all. Not a see ya soon or see you later. He knew for awhile he was going to be doing this." I say as tears fall down my face. I sigh. I go onto my notebook. "Ok when me and Jesse went out we found a piece of Barry's suit. We weren't going to say anything but maybe you can vibe him or something." Wally says reaching me a torn piece of his suit. it has the emblem on it. I'll try in a moment.  "I tried tracing his trace but couldn't." Cait says. "I was listening to a caller earlier and she said that the flash appeared in the middle of the street with his suit torn up but he got sucked into a portal." Eddie says. "Well me and Jay figured out that Barry is the living cell of the speed force, he was going to end it all in 2 weeks, and he still has his stuffed dog from when he was a child. Then this files show multiple suicide attempts. I think the speed force took him because they were afraid that his attempt may actually work and if it does not only will he die but they do to." I say. I grab his suit. I vibe it and I feel his presence. He is in Dalton Academy. "I know where he is. I have to go in to get him." I say. "But you'll die!" Jesse says. "No I won't. I can cheat the system. I'm pregnant and it's Barry's obviously. Meaning I have speed force in me. Literally." I say leaning back in my chair. "Even though Cisco isn't a speedster the baby is. And since the baby is growing inside of him and everything he has speed force in his blood stream right now. While he can't run at super speed it will keep him from dying and will be enough to allow him to go in and get Barry and come back and not die." Caitlin says. "Wait so hold up! How long have you and Barry been in a relationship!" Oliver yells. I snort. "That is a very good question. God what is today." I say. "December 23rd." Caitlin says. "Oh now I feel awful! Today is Barry's birthday!" Wally says putting his face in his hands. "Don't worry. It's our anniversary as well. God if we started dating when he was 16 and he is 28 now we have been together for 12 years today." I say. "Okay I have never heard of a high school sweetheart situation last 12 years!" Alex exclaims. I snort. We finish up everything and head down to the breach room. "You know know that I think about it you know we were always so stupid." I say typing into the computer. "What." They all ask. "Well we always said this was the strongest room in the building to protect us while Barry fought off the demon spawns called meta humans but we were room. The accelerator is actually the safest place because only we have access to it. Well actually only Barry does but it recognizes our prints sometimes. It is a titanium door that withstood a nuclear explosion. If anything we could lock ourselves in one of the cells using Gideon." I explain. "I never thought about that. Ok it wasn't one of our brightest moments alright." Caitlin says scratching the back of her neck. I chuckle. "You've spent to much time around Barry. Barry scratches the back of his neck when he is nervous or the attention is all on him or someone is talking about him. You didn't used to do that until you met Barry." I say. "I also had a normal life until I met Barry." She mutters. "I haven't had a normal life since I was 8." I say. "Ok, Caitlin go ahead and have the med bay prepped because I have a feeling he is injured. Alex you help her. Joe, Eddie, Julian make sure your guns are drawn and waiting to shoot if something comes out. If the speed force is determined to keep Barry I am assuming they won't let us take him easily. They will probably send time wraths out. So everyone be ready to kill them. Now Felicity can I trust you with one of the most important tasks here." I ask. She nods. "Ok come look on this screen here. I caught a trace of Barry's signature and caught his vitals. This is his vitals right here and those are mine. Unless mine get deadly low do not pull me out. If his get deadly low press that button and it will cause this thing to blink. I will hurry and get us both out of there. If both of our vitals have dropped press that button and it will bring us both back immediately." I explain. "Got it. Now what if that thing flashes." She asks. "That means I can't get us out and you need to use the other button to pull us out." I say. We open the breach and as I walk in I appear in Dalton Academy. "Well Well Well if it isn't Cisco Ramon. Figured you would come after him." Nora says. "I'm going home with him whether you like it or not." I say. I look over to find a bloody and bruised Barry standing in the doorway of a room. "I know you will and we will let you. We wanted to see to what lengths you would go to get him back and you and your friends have proven worthy. We left traces for you to find him and you all followed him and even pulled more strings then we thought you would. Right now he is reliving his worst nightmare. He walked into the commons room one day and saw his best friend laying on the floor. Dead. With a gunshot wound to the head. Now his body beat itself up from being in here so long and we couldn't do nothing about that. But we will put one of our other evil speedster who used their speed to do wrong in there. Take our boy home." She says Disappearing. I walk over and touch Barry's shoulder. He snaps out of it and looks at me. "Home." He mutters. I smile. "Yeah bubs. It's time to go home." I say. I open the breach and it slings us out without warning. "God is that what it is like to be slung out of the speed force." I ask groaning and standing up. "Yes. And it fucking hurts like hell." He says. I help him up and hug him. "Now you need to...." I say. "Let Cait look me over. You don't have to tell me twice. How many pain meds do you think she will give me." He says. Everyone chuckles. After Caitlin looks him over we are all in the cortex. "So Barry how's Chester." I ask as I suck on a lollipop. He glares at me. "I should have fucking burnt my diary before I went into the speed force." He mumbles. "What it's cute. It shows your still a child at heart." I say. "I fucking hate you sometimes." He mutters. He spins around in his chair and stops. "God way to much movement and way to fast." He says. I snort. "That's ironic coming from you." I say. "Shut it or you may be short on your candy stock here." He says. "You wouldn't dare." I say narrowing my eyes. "Oh I would." He says. "And how did we never notice this before." Joe asks. "Good question. This is like a normal day bickering between the two. Pretty much flirting or Cisco getting cocky and Barry getting cocky back. It is quite entertaining though. Here Barry. Since you are in a lot of pain I will give you these two pain killers and how about we all head outside and wander around the city." Caitlin says. "Deal." We all say at the same time. "Great now you created a fucking cult. I'm already a part of the fucking Warbler cult I don't need anymore cults." Barry mutters. "Yeah you never really did audition for the Warblers did you. I was your roommate at said time and you were singing and we had the door open and Thad and Wes just dead ass recorded it and told you to come to the commons room with us." I say. "Yeah." He says. We head outside and go to the park and it is snowing. Barry shivers. He runs and comes back in Snart's parka but slips. We all let out straight up cackling including him. He gets up. "I was recording Cisco and I caught that on film! Oh that was perfect timing!" Caitlin says laughing. "You know Snart is gonna kill you right." I say. "Oh it is only payback for him stealing 400 bucks from me. I looked it up and found this exact parka online and found out it was 400 dollars. It's now mine until he gives me back 400 dollars." He says. We make it to the park and Barry runs and jumps on one of the swings. "Don't give me that look. We all know I really am a child at heart no matter how much I hate to admit it." He says. His foot slips and he almost falls again. "I am going to laugh when you fall on your ass." I say. Kara has disappeared. "Guys I'm a little stuck!" I hear her say and turn to the slide to see she is stuck. It is a tiny child slide that she is stuck in of all things. "How did you manage!" Barry says laughing. He phases her out while the rest of us are to busy laughing to help. We get under a big tree and everyone is scattered out talking and we came across the Warblers and New Directions to a moment ago so they are all talking with us. I feel someone tap on my shoulder to get me attention and see Barry. "Hey Barr." I say smiling. He gets down on one knee. My hand immediately goes to my mouth as he pulls out a ring. "Cisco Ramon would you do me the pleasure of becoming me husband and making it official this time?" He says. "Yes." I say. Everyone around us claps. "Finally after 12 fucking years!" Jeff yells. He slips the ring on my finger and kisses me.
