Lauren's POV:

I took a deep breath. Nows your chance. Just tell him who you are, show him the birth certificate, and ask to stay with him.

I slowly knocked on the door, but it was a really quiet knock though. I was about to knock again when the door swung open and I looked up. There stood my father. He stared down at me and sighed.

"Look kid, I don't give out autographs. Go ask another superstar." He rudely said about to close the door but I put my foot in to stop it.

"Excuse me? Ok 1 I'm not looking for a stupid autograph an 2 don't slam the fucking door in my face, it's considered rude." I sarcastically smiled at him. He looked at me taken back. He crossed his arms and stared at me.

"So what is it that you want? Money, cause I don't give that out either." He said. I scoffed.

"Please, like I want your money." I snarled.

"Listen kid, I'm not going to stand here so you can act all snotty and rude. Shouldn't you go back to your parents or something?" He asked me with his arms still crossed.

"No. My Mom's on a plane." I said to him shaking my head.

"What about your dad?" He asked looking at me like I was stupid.

"I'm with him already." I smirked. He looked at me confused and poked his head out of the door looking side to side.

"Look kid, I'm not here for jokes. I don't see anybody here." He said getting annoyed.

"That's because I'm looking at him." I smirked again. He looked at me confused. He shook his hands signaling for me to explain.

"Your my dad, idiot." I said rolling my eyes. He shook his head.

"I don't have kids, never have and ne-" he started but I cut him off.

"Yes you do. You were dating my mom, Sarah, Sarah Kate. You guys hooked up one night then you left her high and dry the next morning. 9 months later I was born. Do you need me to explain that too?" I asked him sarcastically smiling again. He shook his head.

"That can't be possib." He stopped and his eyes widened. He looked me up and down.

"Shit." He mumbled placing his hand on his head. I stood there smirking.

"Are you gonna let me in?" I asked crossing my arms and tapping my foot. He just kept mumbling stuff under his breath. I rolled my eyes and pushed past him into the room. I plopped down on to the couch. He closed the door and sat in the chair across from me. He stared at me.

"Where's Sarah?" He asked through clenched teeth.

"Dead." I mumbled.

"What?" He asked.

"On a plane I told you." I said annoyed.

"What do you mean? Is she on her way here?" He asked. I shook my head.

"No. She's on her way to Australia. She has to go there for her work." I explained.

"And she just left you in front of a hotel so you could possibly find me?" He asked. I nodded slowly.

"Yeah." I said slowly.

"That doesn't seem like the Sarah that I knew. Are you sure your even my kid?" He asked me.

"I have the birth certificate and everything." I explained while laying down and crossing my arms.

"Well let me see it cause I still don't believe you." He said. I pulled it out of my bag and threw the envelope at him. He glared at me and opened it. He looked at it.

"Fuck. Listen kid-" He started to say and looked up at me.

"Um, excuse me, my names Lauren bitch, so don't call me kid." I snapped.

"Ok, Lauren, I can't keep you. How old are you anyways, eighteen?" My dad asked me laying back in his chair and crossing his arms.

"No, that's rude. Do I look that old? I'm only fourteen." I scoffed.

"Well I can't keep you. Can't you stay with other family members?" He asked me.

"Nope. Grandparents hate me and my aunts dead." I shrugged.

"That's a lie. Why would your grandparents hate you?" He asks squinting his eyes at me.

"Because they think that I ruined my mothers life. Because of me, she didn't "excel" in life as much as she should have." I said rolling my eyes.

"Shit. Well how long is Sarah going to be gone?" He asked.

"Forever." I mumbled.

"What?" My dad asked.

"Three months." I told him smirking.

"Fine. You can stay with me. But there's going to be rules. No boyfriends, no sex, no complaining, no whining, and defiantly no attitude. It looks like you have my personality which is a complete bitch, so no more of the eye rolls or the rude remarks. Got it?" He said pointing his finger at me. I rolled my eyes and sat up.

"Ok. So what do we do now?" I asked.

"I have stuff to do, so your going to shut up and be good." Dad explained before there was a knock on the door. I sighed and laid down staring up at the ceiling. Dad got up to answer it.

He came back with some ugly tall blonde bimbo. I laid there staring her up and down.

"Who the hell is she?" I exclaimed.

"I could ask the same thing to you." She said back.

"No you can't because I'm his daughter. Now who the fuck are you?" I said through clenched teeth sitting up with crossed arms.

"Language." My dad warned shooting me a glare.

"I'm his girlfriend." She scoffed. My eyes widened, but that soon turned to an evil glare.

"Wait, you have a daughter?" She asked him.

"Well no, yes, I don't know. She showed up at my door saying she was my kid. She has the birth certificate and everything but whatever." My dad explained. I jumped off the couch and stomped over to the door. I turned around and looked at both of them.

"How about you come find me when you actually start treating me like a human being. When your done putting this slutty whore before me, then maybe we can actually have a real conversation! You've been acting like you don't even want me!" I screamed at him.

"That's because I don't! I don't even know you! I don't care about you! I could care less if you went and stayed with your grandparents that hate you! Why aren't you with your mom? Even if she is on a plane going to work, why didn't she take you with her? Why would she just drop you off at a random hotel if she really cared about you? Huh? Why?" He yelled. I was taken back by this. I should have known he wasn't going to want me.

"That's because she's dead! MY MOM IS DEAD!" I screamed at the top of my lungs. His face changed to sympathetic. I shook my head with tears falling before opening the door and slamming it shut. I ran down the hall and got into the elevator.

Once the door closed, I slid down the wall with tears constantly falling. The doors suddenly opened and I heard a gasp. I looked up to see my role model. There she stood,

Aj Lee.
