Ella walks in to the guestroom and looks at Doug.

I sit up "yes princess?"
"Can you take us to the mall please?" she whispers to me.
"Yeah, why are we whispering though?" I whisper back.
"Because i just remembered we have nothing to give mom for mothers day." she whispers again.
"oh shit your right, yeah i'll take you guys".
●☆Kamala POV☆●
I watch them interacting and smile.
"Grandpa said he will come too."
"okay" Doug says.
"We will be in the car."
Doug nods "okay".
I watch as ella walks out then look at Doug. "do you want to go or do you want to stay here?" he asks.
"I'll stay here."
●★Doug POV★●
"okay" I get up and kiss her one last time.
"I love you" she says.
"I love you too"I walk out.
●☆Kamala POV☆●
Eventually I get up and go to the kitchen. Barb looks up at me and smiles "so how is my son treating you?" she asks.
"Oh perfect. He has been such a prince."
"aww that's good, i'm glad he's treating you well".
"Well after the way Kerstin has treated him and the kids im surprised he has opened to me the way he has."
"yeah me too, not in a rude way but the way she acted wasn't right and i knew it from the
start."
"Well you're his mother and you want what is right for him."
"Yeah your right, but I have a good feeling about you, and a mothers intuition is always right" Barb says.
I smile "Thank you."
"of course"
"Would you like me to do anything? Slice anything?"
"no sweetie it's okay"
"Okay" I sit down at the island and watch her.
Barb smiles as the meatloaf finishes "so is there anything else you want to talk about?"
"What was Doug like as a child?"
"Oh he was the cutest, here i'll show you some pictures" Barb says going into the living room and pick out a couple of pictures then hand them to me, she describes and gives details about each one.
Theres one of him as a baby and I just smile and imagine our baby looking like him.
She shows me a picture with him and Cole and ella when they were
younger "and that was one of his first father's day". I smile "Aww I
cant wait to ...." I stop before I mention the baby.
"to what?" Barb asks.
"Ohh um witness him on fathers day with cole and ella."
"oh yeah , that'll be cute".
I smile and bite my lip as Barb takes the meatloaf out but continues to show me pictures.
"Smells amazing" I say.
"thank you".
I hear everybody get back.

I hide the bag behind my back and walk to my room immediately.

"hey guys" I kiss Kamala on her temple.
"Hey baby." she smiles and leans into my kiss still admiring the pictures.
