"Those two look so cute together. Its like they were made for each other." Mina said that evening while pointing at Midoriya and Kendo in the kitchen.
"I still wonder how Deku ended up falling for Kendo in the first place? Or maybe it was the other way around?" Toru replied.
"So what do you think about spring break? Think you'll try to get to that island?"
"I hope its warm and sunny just like Nabu. What about you Tsuyu?"
"I'm hoping to work with Ryuku again but going south to a warmer place wouldn't be a bad idea, Ribbit."
"Momo, what do you think?" Toru asked.
"I want to go but I'm not sure if my agency would recommend me."
"But you're so skilled, accomplished and talented! Why wouldn't they approve you?"
As the conversation carried on in the other room, the couple were adding the final touches to their dinners. It was a casual meal and they each had a smile on their face. They grabbed an empty table and started to chow down.
"So Izuku, did you hear about the spring break opportunity?"
"Yeah we did. I wonder which island it'll be?"
"Are you looking forward to it?"
"I wish but I'm not going."
"Excuse me?"
"Sorry I gotta go somewhere else with Endeavor during that time."
"Oh thats sucks; is there any way that you could be transferred?"
"I don't think so. This is a bit well.....urgent."
"Well that's too bad; I hope its a good experience still."
"What about you? I'm guessing that you're going to apply."
"Heck yeah; I could use a break from this cold weather."
"I can't wait to hear all about it."
"Oh we can stay in touch during the whole time; we have smartphones after all."
Oh right, heh." He chuckled with her.
Meanwhile with the other girls....
"I honestly feel jealous of them, they seem happy with each other and I wish I could have in that too." Mina said.
"Well I know that you and Kirishima would make a great couple, Jiriou and Kaminari are another and then me and Ojiro!" Toru exclaimed.
Jiriou turned very bright red at hearing that.
"We could make a little couples club!" Mina replied.
"Not to mention that Kato and Shiozaki seem to be getting somewhere."
"Ribbit......."
"It sounds kind of awkward if you ask me. Besides, I'm not sure that would be good for our studies," Momo replied.
"Oh come on, we could get you together with Todoroki!"
"Wait what?!"
Little did they realize that Kendo and Midoriya had stopped eating and were listening in surprise.
"W-w-well....this is.....interesting," he said quietly to her.
"Let's leave them be, I need to get some homework done. Do you want to work together on it in my room?" She replied.
"Yeah that would be great. It would be nice to see the rest of class 1B again."
He couldn't but shake the realization about I-island. He would be several weeks away from her; it would be hard even with phones.
But he couldn't let it get in the way of hero stuff. He promised that he wouldn't.
As they headed out to the other dorm, Mr. Aizawa came into view.
"Midoriya, I need to speak to you."
"U-uh yes sir?"
"Not here; inside and in private."
"I'll be with you shortly Kendo."
The two returned inside and rounded a corner.
"I'm sorry to tell you this but there's been a decision about Eri."
Midoriya shuddered at that.
"It's been decided that she'll be living on I-island for the time being."
"What? Why?!"
"There's been a new threat discovered linked to festival attack and we fear Eri needs more protection than what UA has to offer." He whispered.
He was silent, too shocked to speak.
And very devastated instantly.
"What about Mirio? What's going to happen to him?"
"Ever since his quirk was shut off, he's been helping Eri so much that she is emotionally dependent on him. He'll be going with her."
"Will she ever return?"
"Until this threat is dealt with permanently, no she won't."
